I got sick of my husband unplugging my studio’s electricity so that he could plug in whatever tool he wanted to use so I bought this outdoor splitter and I haven’t had any issues with it and am happy to say that I’ve also kept my electricity every day since!!

Good, but not all plugs fit!
I've discovered that a lot of the round male ends of extension cords (and other devices) don't fit into the recessed sockets they've designed. Otherwise its a good heavy duty all plug adapter, and seems to operate well in rain - as long as the receptacle you are plugging this into has the ground pin lower than the spade "pins".

Great plug configuration.
This was purchased for an outdoor holiday lighting application. I needed an outlet adapter that could plug into an Amazon outdoor smart plug at a different angle which this one does. It worked perfectly and allowed me to plug in everything without any crowding issues. This one did the job perfectly.

Waterproof and solid
Had this plugged in on my back patio for about 4 months now, not a single issue through some tough rain storms. Have my outdoor lights plugged into this and they work every time...great buy

Quality Control Issues but a Sturdy Plug Indeed. Don't give up. Here's what you need to do ...
When my plug arrived I immediately tried a variety of 3 prong plugs. NONE OF THEM WOULD FULLY PLUG IN. NONE. They would go in part way and then hit something solid. Left from 1/4" to 3/8" gap. NOT GOOD. If this happens to you, have Amazon send you a replacement. I did.BUT, with the replacement plug I only had PARTIAL SUCCESS. With this unit, the plug would fully insert BUT it was EXTREMELY DIFFICULT TO REMOVE. EXTREMELY.So, two different problems. One type is impossible to fully plug in. The other type is almost impossible to unplug but this type at least plugs in firmly and completely.SO, WHAT TO DO? Make sure you receive a unit that permits the plug to be fully inserted. AND if it is extremely difficult to unplug, DO THIS: plug and unplug a 3 prong plug in each socket numerous times. The more you insert and remove, the more reasonable it becomes to remove it next time.Thank you to Amazon for such a quick replacement. The unit appears sturdy, well built, and with a good weatherproofing design. Now if they could only work out those plug in, unplug issues ....
