World Centric Corn Starch Forks, 24 Count (Pack of 1), Natural

I first discovered these while waiting for a plane during a layover in California. I was bored and hungry, so I got some food. Everything there is recyclable or compostable—it is not like that on the East Coast, where I am from, and I thought it was just marvellous!I kept one of the forks from the restaurant (a clean one) and have been using it to mix my matcha on the go. It lasted about 5 months before I accidentally broke it out of carelessness.These things are surprisingly study!It also seems unaffected by prolonged exposure to water, which is good because I keep it in my cup, which usually has a bit of water leftover after rinsing it.At that rate, it will be about 12 years before I need to order more of these. But I recognize this is a rather unusual use case.If I just wanted forks for a family picnic, these would be far too expensive...absurdly so. But for the way I plan to use them, it is certainly worth it.My favorite thing about these forks is their lack of ridges on the back of the tines. Far too few plastic forks do this, and I've never, ever seen an execution of it so brilliant as World Centric's. They fortified the backs of the tines like a softly rounded triangular prism. It is a very comfortable fork to eat with, and the fortification makes the tines exceptionally durable. They're not even the part that broke on mine!I can't wait to receive this package, these forks are just awesome. But again...if I just intended to go on a picnic, no way would I buy these. They're far too expensive for disposable forks.

This silverware set is perfection. Seriously. They will turn you into one of those people who washes their disposable utensils because you like them better than your stainless set. HIGHLY RECOMMEND you buy these!! I would wear a tshirt with this brand on it. I would wrap my car in their logo! (lol ok... Maybe not that... But you get the point)The material is perfect- not too rough like many not plastic versions are. The spoons have a proper curve to them instead of being the obnoxiously deep soup spoon like so many disposable sets are.

This is an excellent Eco friendly fork and utility set. They are very strong too- they do not break easily. They also seem to withstand heat pretty well.

I like the small size and they are very strong did no break after many uses will buy again.

Ive been buying these for awhile now. They’re great. Not only are they sturdy, but compostable too! When I know I have a busy work week ahead, I grab a pack of these, as well as the plates; and it makes life easier. Will continuing buying IF the price stays the same.

I earlier wrote a rash review on this product and that was unfair. The rashness was due to a quick preliminary scan based on the handle, not the base. I still think the handle is delicate compared to the solidly constructed fork base. The center of the handle is cut open. Perhaps it's a design feature but one that seems to render the fork a bit on the light and delicate side (at least for me). But the fork itself is strong. So for that, I will definitely eat my words right out of this fork!

These 'World Centric Cornstarch forks' are medium sized forks that are very sturdy for their weight. I planned to discard most of these after use, however they held up well after a wash in the dishwasher. Product information says they are heat resistant up to 200 degrees Fahrenheit and my dishwasher seems to confirm that.

I looked around for awhile to find a plastic utensil that was earth friendly. These are made conscientiously, and they're sturdy. I served much food at my son's birthday/graduation party, and I was not let down. It made me feel good to be able to compost the utensils, and I didn't feel guilty if they went into the recycling (or trash) knowing they break down quickly. I don't like to use throw away items like this, but if I have to I'll buy these again.
