GLORY!! Slap Yo Mama Turnip Greens!!
I recently started purchasing canned greens as I prefer to cook fresh greens. I am pleased with how easy it has been to give these greens my special flavor! I open my cans and drain all the liquid that the greens are marinating in..I heat up a pot that has veggie oil and real bacon bits..I take some Maggi chicken bouillion powder mix with one half cup of water..onion powder..garlic paste..pour in oil and bacon heated pot..after mix has heated to a simmer..I add my drained greens and simmer for about 10 minutes..ready to eat with some cornbread! Um Um Good!
