GIMLET SELECTION
I needed a gimlet to assist when driving wood screws. This set of four different sizes fits the bill perfectly.

Do not recomend, quality is laughably bad.
It was pretty apparent that what I received was poorly made the moment I got them out of the packaging. The worm on the 2 smallest does not go all the way to the tip of the gimlet meaning it requires a significant amount of force and turning in order for the worm to engage. This affects the 2mm one the most since the worm is half missing and the gauge of the wire is too small to apply the necessary force making it unusable. The worm on the 3mm one does work but requires the worm to be fully withing the material before it will engage and will not self feed till then. However the above is not the worst part, the flukes on all the ones I received are practically uncut and do not remove any material. This means that the deeper into the material you drill, if you manage to get that far, the more the friction builds up. This results in an effect rather like driving a partially threaded screw into the wood causing significant pressure and blow out at both the entry and exit point.I will be returning mine shortly as I might as well get long self tapping screws since they will have the same effect.

Average quality
Bigger sizes ok but smaller are of poor quality

Not good
The point on the largest gimlet bent on first use. I was only using it to make a hole in an internal door when fixing a new door handle.
