I-am hopeless at orienteering And relay heavily on a GPS whether On walks or while driving and I was fine with using my phone until in my last road trip in Europe I run out of data. On my return I was charged much more than the cost of this SatNav.I-also noticed that using Mobile phone’s Maps/GPS seems to drain the battery and car charger could mot keep up and top up battery quick enough.Then there was the matter of loss of signal which for me who is so dependant on a navigator means getting hopelessly lost!I looked around and for a while I subscribed to an mobile app but it still left the matter of battery drainage unsolved.I decided on purchase a SatNav and this seemed to tick all the boxes.First of all the suction mount is the best one I have ever come across, holds the SatNav firmly in place and at an adjustable angle.Installing updates map (I installed Europe speed limit map very easily) is a breeze.Operating GPS is easy and The voice pleasantNice size HD screen and You do not need a stylus to use as it is very touch sensitivePrice is excellent , as much as a year subscription to a Tomtom mobile appUpdates are free and open ended (life long update) , and there are so many cool features, you can upload music, videos, play game or sort out your accounts on its calculator.Truly one of the best one, I tried it today both on Pedestrian mode as well driving and could not be happier.

Don't be deceived by their comments. I don't think those are real.Unfortunately after a week, the satnav loses signal and only way to make it work is to fully reset the device and it might work for a hour or two then stops.I've set my lorry height to 17ft and its took me under bridges much lower.I cant use this sat nav anymore. Its dangerous not only to me but also the general public especially.if you hit a railway bridge,you wil receive big fine.I tried to update maps but gave up as the method is very complicated. I tried to contact the seller but cannot understand their mails. Very poor English and service.changed to use tomtom.

Its impossible to get the GPS to recognise my position in the UK. Maybe there is an easy fix but Ive reset device three times and turned GPS on and off to try and locate me but it doesnt want to know. Unless I get around this problem its going back and the next review won't be pretty!

Service was great came exactly when promised. I was very surprised at the size of the screen, [I had a small tom tom before] which came as a surprise. I am well impressed with the whole thing and am now in the process of setting it up and reading the manual.

I have no words to describe this product. It's just amazing. Easy to use and found me the best route within seconds.Loving the free maps uploads.

It’s a gift for Christmas so I can not rate the other things.But I ordered this on a Sunday Evening and it was delivered Monday lunch and I do not have prime either. So faultless for time and it was well packaged.I did a bit of research beforehand and Tom Tom wanted over £120 for a sale item and maps with just UK. I have always purchased Tom Tom Sat Navs, but charging over £350 for a Heavy Goods Vehicle’s Sat Nav compared to even the one I am writing a review for which does include HGV’s for no extra price convinced me that Tom Tom are now over charging. So customers are going to look for alternatives. I read the reviews and this seems to be a popular choice.But for the moment it’s still boxed and unused. It you do not hear from me again, that’s because it’s been a great bit of kit and no need to say anything else.HoweverShould it not go well, I will indeed either edit this review or write another in the future. But for the money and everything else that comes with this Sat Nav, it’s a no brainer.

Initially thought this was a great piece of technology, however, few months on realise it's not much good. I often have to resort to use my phone for directions as this sat nav frequently loses its signal. I regularly find it's a minute or two out of synch and I'll end up going the wrong way and end up being redirected. Would I recommend - no

I bought this because the reviews were good but boy was I wrong, Firstly it wont accept postcodes then It kept recalculating even though we were following the directions then it kept loosing signal and freezing If I was on my own driving I would have been panicking but my husband is old school map reader and got home safely. I am sending this back. I think the other reviews must be fake.
