Excellent
The media could not be loaded. I have been using cast iron dosa tawa & non stick pans for many years. So will give a genuine & detailed review. Please read it fully to respect my effort 😊.WHY I BOUGHT AN ENAMELED PAN:I wanted to get rid of non stick pans considering the health hazards but cast iron also has its draw backs. We cannot cook citrus foods in cast iron (lime, tomato). It will damage the seasoning effect & may absorb 3 times more iron. Excess iron is also very harmful to us. So, I bought enameled iron panWHY THIS BRAND:Price was reasonable & was available in India. I didn’t want to buy a more expensive brand without knowing if it will work to my satisfaction.SHOULD YOU SEASON IT BEFORE USE:I found it very strange that some are recommending seasoning a pan with enamel coating but it was worth a try. The seasoning worked like a charm. So definitely season it once before use.SEASONING METHOD:1. Wash it with soap & warm water twice.2. Boil some water and throw it away to remove impurities.3. Put it on high flame till it fumes. Then put it on low flame for 5-7 mins.4. Once it cools down reheat it. Switch it off.5. Apply bees wax ( or any oil) when the pan it still hot. Bees wax is the best.6. Repeat the process 3-4 times ( i.e heat the pan, apply wax & cool it. then repeat)PROS:1. The surface almost looks like a cast iron only. It is not smooth like non stick. You can cook citrus foods in enameled cast iron.2. It behaves like a 2 year old cast iron pan right from day 1. Means you don’t need to struggle with seasoning & maintenance3. The video I posted is my first use. The dish has ginger garlic paste which is very sticky but the pan did a fantastic job. Nothing stuck to it.4. I added only 2 tbs oil but the pan did not absorb even a drop. Even after I finished cooking, the oil remained in the pan. Though it is unbelievable, this pan absorbs lesser oil as compared to nonstick pans. Cast iron pans first absorb oil & then spit it out but enameled pan does not even absorb it.5. After frying, the dish looked exactly like a cast iron product. It browned well & was crispy. Non stick pan does not give that finish to a fried dish.CONS:1. It is heavy. 27” size is manageable but a larger pan might be difficult.2. The enamel coating may chip. So, we need to be careful. The product was delivered without any damage & it looks pretty sturdy to me.3. Handle gets extremely hot. Make sure to get a silicone cover. Amazon recommended some handle which was a good fit but I had to struggle to fit it. Some twisting & pushing is requiredFINAL VERDICT:Definitely much better than cast iron or non stick pan. I am not even considering a steel pan because I failed many times in the past. Water droplet method doesn’t work too. So enameled cast iron is the best choice.

Great Skillet
My first step towards shifting to iron cookware and I'm very satisfied with the skillet. The red color that augments the black iron skillet is amazing. Since its pre-seasoned, I started using straight out of box and got an idea of the skillet's sturdiness while washing. Its heavy - there's no denying that and have to super careful while washing so that you don't either break the sink or the tiles below if you drop it. Slow cooking anything on this is a treat and retains heat far longer than other cookware. I just make sure its not holding any water droplets post washing by slightly heating it up before storage.Overall, a good buy, great product and highly recommended. As the product claims, it could possibly last ages and I don't see any reason why it wouldn't.

Best cast iron pan
Excellent quality frying pan. Worth the expense as compared to cheaper cast iron options. The quality of the enamel and overall quality is much better and the even heat transfer cooks foods esp meats much better as it retains the heat more effectively.

Great product but enamel chips off easily
Great product. Very heavy but that's part of getting a cast iron cookware. However the enamel coating chips of quite easily. So be wary of that.

Worth the money
Very nice product, very sturdy, First step is to fry some onions to dark in the pan and then wipe with cloth. its more than an non-stick pan.
