Great replacement at a good price

Even though this is a generic brand, the water taste's so much better than the Name Brand filter we usually use. So far, so good. Will see how long it lasts.

I had purchased filters for our butler faucet for twice the price and this is the same as the old ones I have used. It installs easily and works perfectly.

I have bought cheap alternatives for the extremely expensive Moen filter from other vendors before and they seemed to work OK. When I saw this AQUACREST filter on Amazon, I bought two because they were about half the price of OEM filter.When first installed, it looked like the filter was working fine and the water seemed clean and odorless. Two months into using this filter, we started getting white particles in the water. They look just like dandruff. They float around and eventually settle down. The tap water does not have any visible impurities, so this debris is coming straight from the filter itself.Moen OEM filter will last at least 6 months and we have some times gone for a year. I had to replace this AQUACREST in just 2 months! Having already made the mistake of buying two of these, we will use up the second one and just go back and surrender to MOEN filter.Decide for yourself - do you want clean water or would you be happy with the perception of saving money? I definitely won't recommend this product; you won't save any money.

Can’t say enough about it.

I always used to dread replacing my Moen filter cartridge because the things were so damn expensive and we use a lot of filtered water at my home. This is the first generic replacement cartridge I've seen for the Moen 9001 and it is AWESOME. Fits perfectly and the water tastes great. Definitely recommend.

Easy to install.

Upon getting ready to install this new filter I noticed that the internal part were very loose. I get the impression that this filter is not able to filter very well when the parts inside are sliding back and forth. Someone is taking shortcuts.
