Q: Will the string break or fray?

I’ve had 2 break so far. The first one lasted a year the second one didn’t last 6mo. I’m constantly accessing my badge to go in and out multiple doors throughout the day. I’ve even tried to get as close as possible for access control in my building so I don’t put stress on the cord. If I had a desk job where I get up every so often to take a break then I’m sure this badge would last longer.

Q: I want to use this with a lanyard, but none of my current one's fit / close over the clip. Any suggestions?

Without seeing what your trying to clip, I can't say if it would fit. Keep in mind the badge holder has a little weight to it, wearing it around your neck may become uncomfortable.
