Monistat 1 Day Yeast Infection Treatment for Women, 1 Miconazole Ovule Insert & External Monistat Anti-Itch Cream Bundle

I tried the Monistar one-day vaginal suppositories with clotrimazole and was impressed by how quick and effective they were. The application is simple, it comes with an applicator, and I experienced no irritation. Relief from itching and burning started within hours. It’s perfect for those who want a fast solution without having to go through a multi-day treatment. Definitely good to keep on hand just in case.

This was my first time using Monistat. I went with the 1 day for faster results and be one and done. If you have ever used a tampons, it will be pretty easy to insert. I did it first thing in the morning because I did it as soon as my package arrived. I actually took a shower using the Monistat wash first then inserted it once I got out. After my shower I felt better for a few hours but then I went right back to feeling how I felt before. So I decided to use the cream. BIG MISTAKE...for me anyway. That thing burned like crazy. It was unbearable, so after a few minutes I used my showerhead to wash it off. I don't know if that was normal or I had a bad reaction but I didn't use it anymore. Like other comments have said, definitely wear a pantyliner or pad because there was a lot of discharge the first day. Felt like I was leaking. I would say it I felt a warming irritation sensation while the medicine did its thing. About as much discomfort as having the yeast infection itself. Nothing crazy like the cream, it was bearable. Around the 24 hour mark I felt 10x better so the medicine definitely worked. All and all I would recommend Monistat the medicine however will never use that cream again.

This is for 2015. I’m just now recovering to get to it.I have never known true suffering until I used Monistat 1. The moment I inserted that tiny suppository, I felt what can only be described as the wrath of an angry deity coursing through my body. Fire. Pure, unrelenting fire. I imagine this is what it feels like to be a medieval witch tied to the stake. Joan of Arc? Amateur hour.Within hours into my slumber, my soul began bargaining with higher powers. Saints, angels, my ancestors—I called upon them all. The pain radiated so deeply that I started recounting every bad decision I’d ever made, convinced this was my punishment. If childbirth is the miracle of life, this was its unholy twin, the Anti-Labor. I swear I saw the Virgin Mary in the corner of my room, shaking her head like, “Damn, girl.”At one point, I blacked out and woke up to find my cat staring at me in terror, as if I had become something else—something other. I considered calling 911 but knew they’d just laugh when I explained that my coochie had been set ablaze by an over-the-counter medication.And yet… after enduring the inferno, the purge, the dark night of the soul—I woke up yeast-free. It worked.Would I do it again? Absolutely not. I’d rather let the yeast fester and start a small artisanal bread business in my underwear. But did it work? Oh yeah. Satan himself may have held my hand through the process, but I came out the other side victorious. A little traumatized, a little changed, but victorious.

I was a little nervous about using this based on some of the other reviewers who noted cramps, burning and other unpleasant things happening after using the product - thankfully I did not experience any of those issues. I waited until nighttime to use to be safe, so I wouldn't have issues while trying to work. I had no discomfort and couldn't feel the ovule after placement. Everything worked quickly and thoroughly!

So it absolutely did what it was supposed to. By the 36 hour mark, I had zero discharge anymore. However, as it turns out, I am severely allergic to it! I have never been in so much pain in my entire life and I have had all sorts of medical testing done, spinal taps to biopsies done without any drugs. I have lupus, so pain and I are extremely familiar. I have never experienced pain so awful before this. I heavily recommend if you don’t have sensitive skin or anything. Otherwise, just take the L and go to urgent care 😭 The pain is NOT worth it.

I don't see what the big deal is. The suppository feels "hot" inside you after a few hours but it's not nearly as bad as a yeast infection. I didn't bother with the cream that came with it. Too messy and it probably does nothing for healing. I'll update my review in a few days to comment on actually clearing up the infection, but I wanted to address the reviews that scared me into almost not purchasing this. Update: it worked really quickly and the discomfort was only on the first day. Some of you women are a little overly dramatic...... The one talking about trying to remove it from her insides in the shower..... smh..... Lol woman up!
