EXACTLY what me and my cats needed.
My cats:2 year old female, very skittish, hates her food dish being close to the other cat when they are eating, and a 12 year old male, laid back for the most part, but gets impatient when his water isn't changed and tips over his water bowl when it's too dirty for his liking. My old set up/list of problems:We had a folded up bath towel underneath the dishes to absorb the water that our old kitty spilled daily. I had old plastic bowls stacked on top of each other to provide elevation so my spoiled cats necks weren't strained. On top of the plastic bowls were our own kitchen saucers, which drove my husband crazy because we were always out of small saucers and/or bowls. The whole set up looked rediculous in my son's bathroom, and I was constantly having to change the towel out from underneath the whole jumbled set up because it was wet every couple of days. Also, because our male cat liked to rearrange the dishes, we would have to daily space the dishes back out so that our female cat would even consider eating because of her finicky ways. Why I love these dishes:The bottoms of these have little rubber feet, so no more scooting around the cat dishes, no more spilled water. Success. I purchased two of these. Placed directly next to each other, the two outer dishes being made for food, the two middle for water, my female cat is satisfied with the space inbetween her and our male cat. Double success. Also, these look civilized. I don't feel like a crappy housekeeper letting someone use my 2nd bathroom anymore. Success again. The little slats on the sides that look light gray in the picture are reversible actually, which might appeal to some people. There's the gray side, my personal favorite, and the flip side that is white with black flecks in it. The elevation these provide is perfect for a cat or dog of similar size. I am so pleased with this purchase. It arrived in good condition and in a very timely manner, and is also reasonably priced. I hadn't purchased anything like this before because of the prices I saw on the shelves of Petsmart/Petco, and I needed two. These are worth it and just as nice as any I have priced in the store.FYI: Don't do what I did and get in a rush and try to wash these things in the dishwasher WITHOUT taking the particle board decorative wood siding things out. I did that to one of these and although it still looks the same for now, the particle board looks terrible and like it won't last forever. Still functional, just... DANGIT!!

Excellent Food Stand
I have a cat that has an intense fondness for flipping over her water dish. In fact, she is indiscriminate and will quickly make sure our other cat also has no drinking water. We switched to heavy ceramic bowls she couldn't flip and she switching to pushing them around the house until the water completely sloshed out. We tried mats and towels for friction and clean-up and before long, we were using up a lot of extra space and effort in our kitchen to create some sort of unattractive contraption just to keep the floor dry and our pets hydrated. It was time for a food stand.I bought this one pretty indifferently (criteria: it wasn't hideous and it wasn't expensive), but now I've grown to love it. In fact, I'm going to get a second for my other cat.First off, it's just the right size for both me and my cats. The stand itself isn't tiny (it's not huge either), but the bowls are small (one pint). Standing at 4" off the ground, it's not too high for cats to easily feed out of. I can bring the bowls to the counter to fill with food and water, or simply lift up the whole stand. Either way works fine. It's small and pretty light-weight.It isn't ugly looking, nor is it fancy enough to attract attention. The black and silver fits nicely with home decor in a simple, subtle way. I can leave this in my kitchen when company is over without feeling like a barbarian (the way I did before with bowls+towels+weights+water-repellent-mat+angry cat), but it's also safe enough to set over carpet if I wanted to.The stand itself is plastic with little feets for better grip. The bowls are stainless steel, can easily be removed from the stand and are simple to wash. The top of the stand has a lip around it so if your cat manages to shove the entire stand hard enough (as some do), the water will slosh out onto the table and NOT your flooring. Even better, the lip of each bowl is slightly ramped so that any liquids knocked onto the top will stay there and not drip into the neighbouring bowl to create soggy food.In short, I no longer have to worry about slipping in a pool of water and breaking my neck in my kitchen, my aquaphobic feline now has a how-do-I-beat-this-food-stand project to keep her occupied, and both of them now have drinking water, even if I've neglected to supervise their feeding area upon water refill.

Quiet, Sturdy Feeder
I received my feeder about 2 weeks ago. So far, it is the best feeder I have ever purchased! I have a single wire one that I use for one of my dogs and it's terrible! It wobbles all over the place. This feeder is sturdy, stays in place, doesn't wobble when your dog pushes their nose into it (I'm talking about those dogs like mine that eat with gusto and really Love food!). The stainless dishes are sanitary and easy to clean, they don't rattle around in the holder, and black goes with everything. I have seen a few complainers on here giving the feeder one or two stars who say the panels they give you don't stay up on the feeder. Well, ours do! They snap into place. Maybe this is something the company has recently improved on? I don't know. But it was very easy to assemble. This feeder would be absolutely perfect if it wasn't for one thing. The size of the dishes! I can understand large dishes with the tall feeder because it's for a big dog. But an 8" feeder like we got is for a medium sized breed of dog. So you would expect medium sized bowls. Nope! They are large. I bought this feeder for a 17 pound Shiba Inu (Picture a miniature Akita). So the bowls are quite large for her. But on a positive note, she is normally a finicky eater. But she Loves eating from this diner! It's a good height for her. And the water bowl being that large does mean the water doesn't run out as quickly as it would with a smaller bowl. The feeder shipped and arrived very quickly also. All-in-all, we are VERY satisfied with it! I would definitely recommend to anyone! I am thinking of getting the 4" feeder for my little Pug, but I'm not sure how big the dishes in that one are! The company just needs to let people know in the description the size of the dishes.

This product is great! It's a perfect side for not only my ...
I bought this for my dog because he has a collapsible trachea and needs to eat and drink out of raised dishes. This product is great! It's a perfect size for not only my dog, but for the space I have it in. Plus it's a nice looking product (I didn't want the metal stands). Not only does my dog love this dish, but the other dog and cat in the house also drink out of the water dish, instead of out of their own.

Wonderful
Excellent purchase. The young rascal kept diving towards all the bowls I tried, which resulted in water all over the place. This stand is sturdy and commands respect from the rascal.... no more spilling of water.

Wonderful!
Great dimension, it fits perfectly ! The high is great for a cat. The bowls are big enough to feed two cats. I really like that there is a tray holding the bowls, it keeps the dried food from falling on the floor. It was love at first sight for my cat!
