Spurgeon is always a good read. We use this with our morning devotions. Worth adding to your library.

Good book for referencing and commentary on verses. He tends to go on and on about a verse. It would take you 5 years to read it all thru. He could tell you an hour long serman on one verse. But, you should get it just to see for your self or keep it in your library. It will look good in your libary.

The notes of 250 sermons of Charles H. Spurgeon are outstanding! They prove valuable and insightful for personal devotion, study or sermon preparation. Spurgeon was a Bible preacher and these notes help provide his perspectives and applications of the Word of God.

He is anointed by the Holy Spirit and His sermons are relevant to today's issues...or let's say "sins."

As you would expect from brother Spurgeon - as only a true disciple of Jesus Christ - excellent reading and useful outlines

I should have read the description a little closer because I thought these were his complete sermons. It is really good for what it is, but not what I was expecting....my fault.

This is a beautifully produced Bible with strong paper and an attractive layout. There are sections from Spurgeon's handwritten sermons that are typed up to ensure the reader can decipher what he has said. There are also little gems from Spurgeon's writings placed near the relevant passages. There are comprehensive introductions at the beginning of each book and very useful explanatory section at the bottom of pages so the reader can understand the context. There is also a very useful Concordance and beautifully produced maps at the back. I am very pleased with this Study Bible which is easy to read and easy to use.

I am a Local Preacher in the Methodist Church and found Spurgeon's notes very helpful, not to copy but to learn and be guided by a great preacher. It gave me inspiration for my own sermons which I hope might be half as good as Dr. Spurgeons.
