Safariland, 6365, ALS/SLS, Level 3 Retention Duty Holster, Right Hand

This is my third safariland SLS/ALS holster. I have one for my glock 19, glock 17 and now this one for my 92FS. Theyre great holsters and do thier job of retention well. If you have a 92FS with rails you will need to slightly modify your holster. The picture attach is of the piece you will need to remove, all you need is a hex key and a few minutes. This piece is there to support the M9/92 varients without the rail, if you have the rail it will not allow your pistol to fit. Great holster if you know what you're doing. As always with these holsters, once the pistol is in, leave it be for a few hours to compress the liner inside the holster. Then work on your draw (Unloaded) if its your first time using one of these holsters. Definitely takes some practicing, they require a bit more up before the muzzle is free than some other holsters. All in all, I highly recommend the Glock 19, the Glock 17 and the Beretta 92FS varients of this item. Its definitely saved my life at least once and possibly the person who attempted to take my 17s.

Ngl when I first got it I thought it would fit with the Glock 17 training gun but thank God one of my buddies hooked me up with a 19 so honestly it's a good holster but you have to buy the other attachment that goes on the side separately

At first I was kind of sceptical about the level 3 safety holsters but with this holster after getting used to the draw and defeating both safteys I can draw it fairly quickly

Still getting used to the forward directional lock, followed by a rear lock. Outside of that I love the holster. It fits my older rock island 1911 fs snuggly and sits well on the duty belt. Pricey, but s.o.p dictates

I bought this at the last moment for a 2 day carbine course. I was concerned about the L3 retention (two separate levers to actuate to release the weapon) but wanted something that would work for open carry down the road. Despite very rarely operating a L3 holster I found it worked very well and very fast. Everything is exactly where you need it to release it quickly and without staring down at the holster. Within 20~30 presentations I had it down and was very quick with it. You simply drive down and forward with the tip of your thumb to rotate the strap forward and out of the way and then the second button is right at the pad/joint of your thumb to press rearward as you can slide the weapon up and out without dragging or any hitches.It holds the prescribed weapon with many different tac lights on it or none at all so there is pretty much no reason to buy a holster without light capability. It protected the weapon and despite doing all kinds of contorted firing positions from cover/concealment and grinding it on gravel it came through without any problems at all.

This is an excellent holster for a Beretta 92, M9, and other variants. I was so use to Blackhawk holsters but the ones I purchased were level 1's and needed something more secure so I purchased this Safariland Level 3. I worked for an Security company for years now and they recommended a Level 3's holster in sketchy areas while performing large cash deposits at ATMs. This holster was an great purchase although it was $131 I can't complain. Keep in mind these holsters will start off "really tight" so when you place firearm in (unloaded) don't panic if you cannot pull it out as easy it will take time and requires a break in period 20-30 mind at most to work levers and functions more easier.

I run this with a Glock 17 and Streamlight TLR-1. Previously I used an SLS model, and I like this much, much better. Really not much to say, as I consider Safariland to be pretty much the standard all holsters should be judged by. This is no exception.One of the big advantages of a holster like this is re-holstering. You can't under-estimate the officer safety value of being able to put the gun away and either go hands on or use another tool. You can practically just stick the end of the barrel in and let go. Gravity will bring it home, and <CLICK> level 1 retention grabs it. Even if you are under stress and forget to pull the hoop back, you have at least basic retention.My old SLS holster had the added thumb lock. You would have to push with the thumb, then push the hoop. This took a lot of repetitions to train that practice out of me, since the 6365 goes the other way around: Push the hoop forward, then push the thumb button to release the gun. If you are switching from SLS, give yourself enough practice before hitting the road.I've been using this for only about 3 months, but I also used a similar (no hoop) ALS with a SIG P228 in Afghanistan for a year. Both have functioned great, and no deterioration of the locking surfaces have been noted.

Awesome product, fit, movement, and feel is perfect for my purchase. I like the felt or?? whatever material is inside covering most (not all) of the contact points. However, I have not found any marring on the gun finish so far. I love the holster and would certainly purchase again.

In my humble opinion, the Safariland 6365 SLS ALS Level III retention low ride duty holster is the king of the hill among duty holsters of its kind. It's lightweight, fast, secure, easy to use and looks good. The one I got was designed for the full size Glock 17 and 22 pistols but it also takes the compact Glock 19/23 without problems. The ALS alway engages with an audible, reassuring "click".What I particularly like is the fact that the 6365 rides about 1.5" lower than the 6360 mid-ride. The edge on the lower portion of the polymer belt loop of the 6360 mid-ride digs into my right thigh uncomfortably while none of that was noted with the 6365 low-ride. Here, the lower portion hangs slightly lower and canted slightly to the rear which makes a huge difference. Of course, humans come in different shapes and sizes, so take this information as just my subjective feeling. When it comes to drawing, I actually do not have a lot of preference between the 6360 and the 6365, though I think drawing from the latter might be less tiresome when you train with it. For those who wear bulky body armor in their line of work and don't like thigh rigs, the 6365 low-ride is the obvious choice. I think it is the best holster of its breed.

Perfecta funda

Es un precio excesivo. Es incómoda porque al sentarse al ser tan larga se te clava en la pierna. La extracción de la funda es ortopédico. Cuando te sientas te hace daño en la cintura.
