General 00262 - CF13EL/TWIST/ORANGE Twist Medium Screw Base Compact Fluorescent Light Bulb

I rated this only 4 stars just because I can't find one that is brighter. I used this for Halloween in our front porch light. It is bright in the sense that you can see it from a distance, but, like most colored bulbs, it really doesn't light up the surrounding area. I suppose that is good for keeping things creepy but not really good for people watching their steps. Wish it lit up things a little better. All in all it does what it is supposed to do: be orange and light up.

I bought this for my front door/porch light. I added it to my rotation of various colors to reflect the season. It certainly is a true orange color. It illuminated the front steps enough to see, yet it kept a fall/Halloween darker ambiance that was very nice!

Provided a great Halloween atmosphere in the bar where I work. In fact, left them up to enjoy the color until it is time to put up the Christmas decorations!

These bulbs were just what we were looking for to decorate for Halloween.
