Assembling this product was very straightforwards - simply attach the wheels to the legs that spin round and then attach the waste box with its built in locking mechanism. It comes with a decent cable length too regardless of whether you're plugging it to a socket indoors or outside (approx 10 metres This took me a maximum of 10 minutes to get it ready to go. Its now a very sturdy unit although definitely won't store back in the box! It absorbs branches from one side to the other pretty swiftly and quietly in relative terms considering the operation it's performing. It is capped at 4cm wide branches so I have had to cut a few of them down where they start much thicker. I have noticed it's a little trickier with the wider branches as you do often need to break them down a bit more first which is slightly painful so they can all fit together into the shredder and also when it's just the smaller twigs with a lot of leaves they don't always gracefully go through the blades and you have to prod them along a bit. A slightly wider insert profile may assist there. The storage box keeps plenty in it - I found myself emptying it after about 10 large branches and really minimises it's bin profile. I've been largely impressed so far and it's justifying its price on the top of the range from a well reputable brand.

For the past 10 years I've been laboriously cutting thorny branches by hand to put in the bin, and have often avoided the unpleasant task. So at last I decided to buy this shredder. Now the task is so enjoyable I can't wait to get out and cut back my overgrown trees and shrubs! The shredder just loves to "eat" the branches - everything that fits in the slot gets chopped up, however long the pieces are. The motor is quiet and unstressed. The bin is easy to empty and pour onto a neat compost pile.The shredder was delivered very quickly; it is easy to assemble and safe to use - 14 pages of safety information and 2 pages of instructions. The main hazard comes from the top of long branches which twist as they are drawn in, so use the PPE suggested.Compared to the cost of employing a contractor to tidy the garden this clipper paid for itself by the end of the day it was delivered.

I bought this to replace an ancient Al-Ko shredder which worked really well until suddenly it didn't :-( I was using this to dispose of about 25 metres of mature Privet hedge. The Hyundai shredder worked well from the get go, and cuts the stems into rough chunks which clearly will break down into a nice mulch. I have got through nearly half the hedge - some stems are just to old and too woody to shred and I've quickly learned to cut some of the twisty stems to they don't jam up s they feed in.The unit not very manoeuvrable although the wheels help, but there is no obvious place to hang the non-detachable cable in-spite of the nice cable hanger provided. This is why I only gave it 4-stars for usability.

This is a fantastic product. Easy to assemble and use.I cut back the hedges in my garden ready for the winter and had a mountain of cuts to get rid of.Within an hour I had got through it all flawlessly with this mulcher. Not only did it do it all without a struggle but it did it all relatively quietly as well.It dealt with everything I put in from around 4cm thick branches to thin branches full of leaves and even fir tree off cuts.Highly recommend paying the little extra for this rather than a cheap one. Well worth the money for how easy it did the job.

What a lovely machine I can,t wait to use it. It was very easy to put together .It is strong and sturdy.It is easy to move from one plACE TO ANOTHER.

Previously I had a petrol chipper which was sooooo noisy, difficult to start, took up a lot of room & once stalled was a pig to start again.This shredder is a revelation, efficient, quiet, doesnt stall, small so easy to store. Not so great with soft material but that’s not what I use it for. It munches through heavy weight Leylandii branches no problem, so at last I might be able to keep on top of them.Word of warning, if you put the shredding in your green bin, because they are so compact compared to branches, the bin will get VERY heavy, so much so that you may not be able to move it when full. That’s how efficient this shredder is.

I knew what I wanted when choosing a new shredder to replace my old one, first thing was noise, this is marketed as a quite shredder and it really is quite, I wanted it to have a collection bag or like this one has a box, I prefer the box, this Hyundai shredder met all what I was looking for plus it has a pair of cup holders which has to be good however not sure I would like all the clippings that ended up in them floating around in my cuppa.I gave this a really good work out clearing quite a pile of tree cuttings which ranged from really thin up to the limit that this is rated for, it gobbled them all up without any problems, it did not jam once despite even pushing it to it's limits with a 6 foot branch that just fitted through the shredders mouth it just shredded it, near all that's placed in this will be pulled down because of the way the cutting blades are positioned.The collection box keeps things tidy and makes dumping the chippings easy, overall I really like this shredder and can not really find any faults with it, so it's a five from me.

A good bit of kit. The 'pusher' thing that everyone complains about has broken as expected, but I have used it hard and it seems to be taking the strain well.
