Old Dutch International Embossed Butterfly Canister Set, 3 pcs

These are wonderful!! They are a nice size and match several other pieces in my kitchen.

These are so beautiful and the picture doesn’t do them justice. I get lots of compliments from my guest. I have had them for a couple of years now and they are still as pretty as they were when I first purchased. they haven’t tarnished, stained or discolored. Easy to clean with soap and water and they don’t tarnish.

I have a lot of silver or brushed steel and black in my kitchen and I wanted canisters that would continue that theme. I wanted good lines but also unique and in keeping with the the old pieces in the room. These were absolutely perfect for the task. They add to the interest in the room and at the same time that corner looks neater and more organized. They are obviously handcrafted.The lids fit perfectly and are nice and tight so I know my flour and sugar won’t spoil quickly. The interiors lack lips or curves where moisture can hide after cleaning (a problem with my old canisters). They are lightweight which is also nice. I thought I wanted ceramic and I can see now these metal ones are much better.Can’t say enough nice things — they are very eye catching and look like I spent a pile on them or else went on a world cruise to find them. Love!

I REALLY like it. They are well made not flimsy. The metal is not too shiny but not dull either and matches the kitchen appliances that we have. It is always difficult to make truthful shots of metal objects because the flash reflects. The pattern is very beautiful and well pronounced. The size is good enough. They also look very good on a black granite surface. The problem with this type of canisters is that they have hard plastic (not silicone) sealing in the lids, which does not always correspond to the size of the canister itself. Of the 3 units, 1 had a perfect fit, 1 was slightly loose and 1 was too tight I had a hard time closing the lid. I like the way they look so much that I was considering options to make it work like shaving a little plastic in the lid that doesn't fit or replacing it with silicone ones from an old set. Unfortunately I had another personal reason to return. The original backsplash that we had was a smooth mate cream colored subway tile. The new tiles are hand-made ceramic with patterned and carved lines. And the canisters look too busy against this new backsplash. So consider your backsplash type before buying. The set arrived well packed and the metal scoop was included.

Received this set today and already switched out my old canister set. These have a great shine to them and the darker detail is beautiful! 3 out of 4 lids were snug but nothing a little push didn't solve. The 4th lid fits perfectly. I'm guessing the lids will soften a loosen a bit with use. Really glad I ordered this set, it looks much more expensive in person.

The set is attractive. zhowever, the steel is very lightweightm and the tops do not seal as well as they need to. The set is easy to clean., and the top knobs are easy to grasp.

Wow, I was actually impressed with these as I was unpacking them. I tried the lid and what a seal they have... Not only are they pretty and stylish but they should last a long time.
