The second I saw this doll I was awestruck. She was everything I wanted to be and I knew I needed her. I got her as a christmas present for myself and she went BEYOND my expectations. I’m going to go through all the parts1. Box: This is my first time owning an OMG doll so maybe this is more common than I think but her box is super fun! Sweets box serves as a playset, little storage unit, and a carrying case. I’ve been using it to store all my doll stuff since its big and well lid so nothing will fall off. The unboxing was an experience all in itself which I thought was super cool and unique. You pull the tab on the side and it will open about halfway before you can’t pull it any longer so it only reveals her accessories. This tripped me up because I was expecting this to be the only opening mechanism. I’ll admit I was a bit annoyed at first because I just wanted to see everything at once but now I appreciate it a lot because it essentially serves to build the excitement and enjoy every little surprise one by one! You then pull the box the opposite way you pulled the original tab and their you can see the doll inside her little fitting room that comes with a little door and everything.2. The accessories: the accessories all come in cute little fabric bags with unique patterns that fit the character. The only thing that doesn’t come like this is her shoes which come in an adorable little shoe box. Each little accessory is super adorable and incredibly detailed, aside from the jewelry everything is fabric. I also love how her socks are separate from the shoes, I kind of was expecting them to be part of the shoe and was pleasantly surprised to see the cute tiny laced socks.3. The Doll: Oh My God (no pun intended) THE DOLL. Her curls are so pretty and bouncy, her face is adorable and even though she doesnt have any articulation on her legs I think thats 100% ok because the arms are more than enough to make cute poses. Speaking of arms.. HER HANDS they are so detailed and delicate holy cow, I have noticed a similar thing with rainbow high dolls so I’m guessing its an MGA thing and I am living for it. Her undergarment is so stinking cute and it’s iridescent! Its such a simple piece but it is stunning and I was reallly tempted to just leave her with it on (also it looks super comfy and I want a human size version of it). Her main outfit has really bright colors and don’t look saturated or sort of mush like other doll lines. Her outfit is very well stitches and so puffy!!! Incredible quality.Cons: Now I will say there were two things that bothered me a bit about the doll but they are really minor. The biggest one was Sweet’s hair. Now as you can see in the picture she has this one curl thats sticking up and crossing her face. This was really annoying and I couldn’t really put it in place. I had to sort of intertwine the strand with another strand to get it to stay put. The other thing is that the earrings are constantly falling which is annoying but since she is simply for collecting theres not much risk to losing them, probably not so great if you are giving it to a kid who wants to play with it. Like I said very minor and very outweighed by all the other stuff

Everytime i look at OMG LOL doll reviews I come across a bunch of complaints.-about how messed up their faces are and poor quality in general : which I have seen on a couple of my OMG dolls but most of them in my collection have had really good faces and this doll is no exception. I didn’t experience any clothing coming apart or anything.-about how inappropriate these dolls are. Which I disagree because that just sounds like poor parenting and poor guidance. Don’t rely on TOYS to teach your children values, you also have to take part in that yourselves.- price complaints: these dolls go on sale especially during the holidays, keep them saved in your cart and you’re bound to find a sale I scored a great Black Friday deal myself.Overall Sweets really is sweet. She has a very cute kind of kawaii aesthetic. I like her blue and pink hair, her fluffy jacket and her chunky jelly shoes.Amazon actually shipped her in a box (instead of an envelope mailer) for once so her packaging arrived in great condition. I recommend this doll!

Luckily she arrived perfect, because was jumping inside the big Amazon' package without protection. Well, the doll is adorable, you can see the hair is a lot of work, is precious, it seems Sweets is Series 2 Candylicious' cousin. Pastels colors around and is a great combination with her beautiful skin tone and golden accessories. Sweets has little stars in the tip of each lower lashes, two different eyeshadow like her hair and her clothes are very, very cute! I love her! The shoe soles are transparent also with two different colors. For me, this new LOL OMG worth the price. Now I am waiting for Spicy Babe! If you want to give an OMG as a present, I recommend this doll, I'm sure a little kid will love Sweets.

I am speaking from a doll collector’s point of view rather than as someone who plans on playing with this doll as a toy -She is very detailed and beautiful and her hair is extra gelled to maintain the curls.Visually speaking she’s exactly like the pictures in the listing. However, her gold fanny pack is incredibly poorly designed. There is no velcro of any kind to get it on or off so you either have to stretch it over the dolls hips or yank her head off to put it over her upper body. The material used for the fanny pack straps are an unsealed gold ribbon that fray really easy. My straps came undone at the slightest tug so I resorted to just tying a knot around her waist at the back to keep it on as I have no plans to remove it.Her hair had the curls coming out slightly in the front pieces but this wasn’t a huge deal for me. The hair in the bun was very well structured and held their shape perfectly despite my turning and fumbling while putting her clothes on.Speaking of clothes, it’s a bit of a tight fit this time for the dress. Usually I don’t have a problem getting OMG doll clothes on but I had to take my time with this one as to not rip it since I had to tug quite a bit and the material is pretty easily damage-able.Tip for those who are struggling to get the jacket on- OMG doll hands pop right off and on so take the hands off to put the jacket on. Will save you a lot of headache.My final bit of criticism is that the earrings were really hard to get into the premade ear holes. I ended up stretching them a little with a tool I had to get them in- although I think this may not be a problem across all dolls.If you’re a collector- I think she’s absolutely beautiful.If you’re buying it for a kid- the difficulty putting clothing on may be a problem but otherwise I see no issues with it.Hope this helps!
