Great Seat (?)
This appears to be the same seat (from the same manufacturer) that I purchased in 2006 from "Homeowner's Nightmare". Online, it's about the same price, but Amazon provides free delivery, and delivered it two weeks sooner.I asked here how many bumpers were on the bottom of the seat and received a variety of wrong answers. It has 5 under the seat (in the right places) and 2 under the lid. I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars because in the sealed parts package, it was missing one of the ³⁄₁₆" thick nylon washers. In fact, I reused the two much thicker, tapered nylon washers I had between the hinge and the bowl and the two much larger tapered threaded nylon nuts instead of the brass plated metal ones included to secure the brass plated bolts from the bottom - avoiding any metal to porcelain contact. If it lasts me as long as the previous one, I'll be a very happy 97 year old.Addendum: Well, here I am, 14 years and a month or so shy of 97 circumlocutions 'round Old Sol and awaiting delivery of yet another Dalton "Honey Oak" toilet seat (round). While I have the hardware to install it (regardless of what is, or is not in the parts package), the real problem is the cross grain construction of the seat. The left and right sided and the front and back ends are all made from long grain boards.Look at one and you'll see what I mean. Wood is hydroscopic which means it absorbs and expels moisture attempting to reach equilibrium with its surroundings thus causing it to swell and shrink accordingly. It does so much more so across the grain than it does along it. The joints are cross grain which causes them to split apart. That's the cause of joint failure on the seat. (Any failure of the joints on the seat cover is due to a poor glue joint.) Ideally, the seat would be made like the cover with the opening cut out of a glued together piece (like a table top) with the grain of the glued together boards all running in the same direction. Looks like I'm going to have an unexpected woodworking project in my near future.

Crack and scratched wooden
Wood toilet seat was cracked, looks like a hinge was moved to try to strengthen the crack. The seat was also very badly scratched. Very disappointed

Not made well, at all!!!
We bought two of these. One in Feb. and the other in March. Got the first one. It was wonky. Screws were put in bad. Not lined up right. Screws were drilled, wrong and way off. then they didn't use any puddy to cover them. Just drilled more holes Doesn't fit correctly together. We had to recrew it all over. Not knowing this, at the time, we bought another one. The second one has a big split in the lid. Throughout the whole lid. I know we didn't have the time to return it, and thats on us. We put the second one in, here in late July. But the fact is that both of these covers were made very poorly, with no oversite or product control. The screws are so off on the first one, even fixed, is a bit wonky!! I truly thought better of this company!! Live and learn!!

Thinking it yould last a couple years, but they are actually crap. dont be fool, its made out of cheap allow that broke after 1.5 year. I am 170 pound and my girlfriend is 120 so thats not the issue.I am not the kind of person that like to scrap things, create garbage and rebuy every other year.don't buy this product.

It’s good
Looks nice and fits well. But I needed to sand it because the finish was so rough. Now I guess I should probably reseal it. I’d put a slow close hinge on it, too, cause it’s a heavy lid and will smash down if you’re not careful. But that said, I’d still buy it again cause it’s darned close to exactly what I wanted
