Great for Yard Jockeys
My walkie used to slide around my dash and fall on the floor, now i can stick it on the door right next to my ear to hear it over my bluetooth speaker. Would recommend

Excellent mounting option
Great and affordable solution to mount handheld radio on my Jeep dash. Simple install, I used the adhesive backed metal plate that is provided to attach the magnet. Went out on the trails this weekend and worked perfectly. Magnet is quite strong.

This IS the one you want
If you need a great radio holder, THIS IS IT!Strong magnet and a perfect fit for almost any radio. I normally don’t like a mag mount for my radio because I have a Jeep and tend to go places that are not exactly “a smooth ride”. This thing takes every bit of knocking around a as many jolts as I can give it.FIVE STARS!!

Good but not great
Radio holder works great. The metal piece that sticks to dash keeps falling off. I’ve used this company for years and fallowed the instructions and still falling off about a month into it, two different metal pieces same outcome. I ended running screw into dash now good to go. I’m not happy about screw into dash. And my radio is just a icom sat100

Adhesive Failed Quickly! (See all updates)
I had high hopes for this mount but, unfortunately, my hopes were dashed within a couple of weeks of use. This was to be a mount for my Wouxon KG-935G in my Ford F150. I carefully cleaned the area just to the left of the driver side AC vent using rubbing alcohol. I attached the adhesive mount to that location after the alcohol dried and let it sit for close to 30 hours before placing the HT radio on the mount. I had an 18" pigtail from my coax antenna attached to the radio. The mount stayed attached for about a week and then fell off while driving one day. Fortunately, the pigtail kept the radio from falling under the brake or gas pedals. I cleaned the mount area again, reattached the adhesive pad, and let it sit for another 24 hours before putting any weight on it. On our trip to the Low Country of SC along I-40 and I-26, the mount continued to fail and drop the radio. This isn't safe in high speed driving. I finally gave up and have removed the mount and will be looking for other solutions. UPDATE: I contacted customer service about the matter and found them to be very responsive. Within 8 hours, they shipped a "fix it" Kit that they indicate will resolve my issues. I haven't received it yet so don't know what comprises the kit. I'll post an update after receiving the kit and utilizing it. Kudos for good customer service. UPDATE 10/31/22: My fixit kit arrived today. The kit includes two additional adhesive disks: 1 labeled VHB, which the instructions note are for specific plastics that off-gas and is rated for 90 lbs of adhesive strength. The second disk is for padded dashes or soft leather. There are a total of 4 wipes to prep the surface. Again, the manufacturers recommend 24 hours prior to adding weight. On a related note, I used teh MOB Armor mount without an adhesive pad on the metal downtube of my Polaris Ranger side-by-side while cutting wood this weekend. I had my Baofeng UV5r handheld radio with extended whip antenna attached. The mount remained attached to the downtube through heavy woods and rough roads. Now, if the adhesive will just work in my F150, I'll be one happy consumer. Again, excellent customer service. I'll update one final time when I see how well the adhesive works this time.

Insane Radio Mount
I was worried initially about trusting a magnet with holding my radio. I decided to do some tests by attaching the mount to a steel plate and shake it around... All I can say is you don't need to worry about your radio falling off. With the black rubber boot, it took ALL of my strength to attempt to fling it off and it only did so once (This cannot be compared to a natural movement). If you are really paranoid however, you can take off the rubber boot. I don't care who you are, without the boot, that mount isn't coming off...I use it in my truck and I am never worried about it popping off. On top of this, my buddy and I tested it on his UTV and I felt comfortable with it the whole time.As for the actual mount, it's designed to fit a few varieties of radios (check product description). Compatible radios will actually clip into the mount for a secure fit. With my experience, the only way to slide the radio off once it's clipped in is to focus on taking it off the mount (again, cannot be compared to a naturally occurring movement). In other words, with the extreme magnets and secure mount fit, your radio is completely safe. You could stick the mount magnet directly on your vehicle, however, if it is not a completely flat surface, I would recommend using the provided mounting disc for the most secure mounting. The manual says you can remove the magnet and hard mount to the dash. This sounds great for someone with a custom vehicle, however, my situation does not warrant that. There are two rubber pads to choose from to give the proper spacing for different radio models. These pads will give the proper grip and support to keep your radio from rattling, which is really nice.As for quality, this mount FEELS tough. I have never been a fan of plastics, especially on devices that are meant to be durable. The build is extremely stout, as it's made of metal. You can feel how substantial it really is; it feels like a first-class mount. If you're looking for a high-grade, tough, strong, user friendly radio mount, I highly recommend this one.
