Purchased as a gift for our 6yo Granddaughter, she loves to do anything in the kitchen and is eager to learn. This kit made it easy and was simple enough for her to follow. Pretzels were tasty and she enjoyed making them.

I don’t usually buy kid-friendly cooking kits. My 7yo gets distracted easily, has a hard time concentrating, and following directions. Often my kid gets distracted and I am abandoned after 10 min to finish the project by myself. But, my kid loves pretzels and the idea of baking with me.This was super easy, not very messy (mixing and kneading dough), and relatively quick. All the ingredients are pre-measured, individually packaged, and labeled. The hands-off time it took to let the dough rise, boil the dough, and bake allowed my kiddo enough movement breaks to keep from becoming overwhelmed or bored by non-stop instructions. Totally worth it and kiddo wants another one.And the bonus, the pretzels were actually really tasty. Makes 12 decent-sized, soft, chewy, golden crispy crusted pretzels.
