DeWitTierra Garden Garden Tools

I have been very impressed with the DeWit tools in this bundle. I saw these displayed at a local nursery and garden shop, so I had the benefit of being able to hold and visually inspect many of their tools, in person and close up. The quality of the steel is great and the tools are truly something that, I believe, will outlast me. (Similar to my Rogue tools, they have a Lifetime Warranty...Buy once, cry once.) The handles are made of hard wood, ergonomically shaped with great attachment and no play. So, although I didn't quite have the money to get them at the garden shop, initially, when I saw them months later on Amazon I was ready to purchase. I'm glad that I waited, as they had a 3-tool set with a bonus hanger, as well.

I see there are complete sets out there for the same price, yet i would prefer this three piece set over a cheap complete set any day knowing how rough i am out in my vegetable garden. Rocks, no problem. Bent tools? Never with these! They also come with a cute tool holder ive installed into my mudroom :) The price is justified once you realize you'll never be buying these tools again... These three and a japanese hori hori are what make up my main arsenal for garden funtimes.

I like the basic composition of these tools, wood and metal fused together, no plastic. I garden lightly, mostly weed removal, and seasonal planting. (This is my first season). The parts are well constructed and sharp where they need to be. I paid the price because I expect these tools to last me well into the next several years, with my light gardening habits. The cute little rack is a bonus, the tools hang right next to my back patio door for any impulsive weeding I feel like doing. So far, very pleased with their performance in the month that I've had them.

Gift for my mother. She loves them.

I never thought that I'd get excited about garden tools, but this set is superbly made, very durable and a pleasure to use. Their lifetime warranty certainly helps, as well.
