The packaging was horrible. After opening the Amazon cover, the transparent covers were black and torn. My hands were all black by the time I opened. Quite heavy but looked so dirty that didn't feel like using it. Didn't have an induction base. It may or may not have worked. I didn't try on my induction since they were dirty
