Works great!!!
The 8 sided nut is easy to remove, no special tool required. The sensor wires are in a conduit and appear sturdy. Engine no longer loses prime after installing new filter and water sensor. All good!!!

Fit well and works well so far (1 week). Only complaint is the 12-sided wrench made to take these off and on doesn't fit. Looks like the sides are not the same as OEM

I have an 03 duramax that was loosing prime at the fuel filter. In addition, the drain had been damaged, (ear broken off). Having changed the fuel filter without solving the issue, I bought the sending unit as the connection had been damaged. This unit came with a new (but plastic) drain. It took perhaps 10 minutes start to finish to change out and the system is now sealed again and no more priming to get going after every stop.

Water in fuel float sensor works fine, but looked used and dirty when I received it. I cleaned and used it anyway because my old sensor was broken. Had to have one.
