My go-to headphones for most activities and I have had these for 3 years now.
I have a headphone collection that just goes on an on. But these are (for the most part) the headphones I reach for the most.I have also have B&O Beoplay H8i, Beyerdynamic Aventho, Sennheiser HD1, and the Ghostek Rapture on-ear headphones. While they may not sound as good as my B&O Beoplay H8i headphones and the Sennheiser HD1, they are more stable and convenient to use. Also, the H8i’s and HD1’s are a lot more expensive.ProsLightweightExtremely comfortableGood battery lifePairs faster than any other headphones that I haveIntelligent voice prompts (pairing and battery lifeBalanced SoundDoesn’t drop connectionsGood passive sound isolation (no ANC)Convenient and easy to find controlsFolds into a small form factorGood caseCoolest (temp wise) on-ears that I ownInexpensive for the valueConsSBC Connectivity (no aptX)Average connectivity rangeSound quality is slightly muddy with some music (only when compared to higher end headphones)A bit aged (when is the new one coming out Bose?)

Have easily paired them with my Mac products as well as ...
Should have bought these first. I have small ears for an adult, so usually try to find on-ear headphones with small cups. Have tried Beats Solo 2, Sennheiser, Skull Candy Grinders, etc. None come close to these as far as comfort sound and ease of use. Have easily paired them with my Mac products as well as gaming pc. They are light weight fit well without putting your head in a vise grip like some of the other brands. Sound is well balanced with a bit more low end, just the way I like it.Now for me the really important part is the phones are not huge. They are on the small side exactly they way on-ear headphones should be in my opinion. Only wish I had not tried to "save" money by buying cheaper headsets, that do not compare with my new Bose. Try them, you are worth it.

Great sound, it just does not want to stay on my head when I bend over to pickup something. I have to pick them up a lot. They must be built well because they have hit the ground hard and they still work.

Sound skips
The sound skips intermittently. Infuriating. It's supposed to be a good brand and was not cheap.Read on the web that other people had the same problem. Did not want to run around in cirlclestrying reboots and resetting other fixes etc. etc. etc. The product should work out of the box and it doesn't.Am returning this for a refund.

decent sound, but would not stay on
these are decent bluetooth headphones, I believe one of the first for bose, and that shows. It has good sound, and this is it's only positive quality, earning it 2 stars on this reviewBattery life is 8 hours - awfully short for relatively large bluetooth headphonesthis is on-ear design - so though they are comfortable while wearing them, you really cannot do anything remotely active with them - they will come off. you should either sit in one place and watch screen, or move really slowly and do no bend or tilt your head.ear cushions became dinged pretty quickly, despite sparse use. I bought the replacements, but awful design made the replacement the torture (I guess bose never thought that ear cushions needed to be replaced, or designed $250 headphones to have a life of the ear cushions), and was final straw. I discarded them and bought Mpow headphones on sale for $30, with the same sound, better fit, 4x battery life, and they stay on if I make sudden movement, or jog lightly. And if ear cushions fail - well, I can just by new phone, and do not feel like a moron paying $250 for this disastrously designed phone.

Excellent headphones, poor design.
TLDR: If you want to use these headphones for your phone or other music playing device, go for it. If you wanted to use them for high quality chatting headphones, skip the price tag cause these suck for that. These headphones sound amazing. The mic sounds good and clear. The range is great. There is only one big problem. You cannot use the high quality mic system, and the high quality speakers at the same time. It's impossible. Bose' engineering team really dropped the ball on this one. When connected to a computer, three devices pop up: the HD speakers, the "easy access" mic, and a "easy access" speakers device. What it doesn't tell you is that when you have the mic active, the HD speakers will not function and any program that is trying to use them will crash. The programs will only come back when you ether disable the mic, OR change the speakers to the "easy access" ones. By the way, the "easy access" speakers are garbage.

Bluetooth Wouldn't Connect to Old MP3 Player So Using the Cable
I bought these Bose wireless headphones to get rid of the cable that went from headphones to mp3 player. Unfortunately my vintage mp3 player (2009) and the Bose wireless were unable to hook up. Once I focused on the massive task it would be to move my album collection to a new player, I unwound the green cable that came with the Bose and reluctantly plugged in my mp3 player. Oh my, what a beautiful sound! I sat starry eyed and listened. Heavenly music (actually ABBA): never sounded so good.So okay, my bluetooth plan didn't work out and I still have a cable connecting my headphones to my mp3 player. I can live with that. The on-ear headphones are as comfortable as the reviews have said and the fit of the headphones is excellent. I'm thinking about getting a second pair......
