This Worked Great on my Bike and cart!
I have an old Schwinn bike trailer that I converted into a fishing cart. The trailer didn't have a way to attach to the bike so I bought this one and it worked out great! The coupler is very solid and well made, I've used it many times to carry my trailer and gear over dirt roads my way. If you look at the picture, I'm carrying a big ice chest with 20#'s of ice, a bait bucket full of water and shrimp as well as my gear and rods. The coupler holds true and not 1 issue yet after weeks of using it ( about 50 miles on dirt roads) using it. When I'm not using the cart, I simply unhinge it and the coupler is small enough that it doesn't bother as I bike ride. It gets a big Thumbs Up from me.

Design and Material quality poor
First problems I noticed compared to my old one was that the cooter pin was not tethered to the device. Sure enough I put it down and could not find it. Replaced it with a long nail and rubber band. A month later I found the cotter pin but it would not fit in the hole because the pieces did not fit together well enough to make a hole big enough for the cotter pin to fit. Finally plastic insert in the tube that so easily can come out did. Riding with the trailer yesterday the sloppiness of the connection slowed me down so I had to drop 1 or 2 gears.
