Art of Coloring: Golden Girls: 100 Images to Inspire Creativity

Purchased for a birthday present and they love it! Huge fan of the Golden Girls!!

Avid GG fan this coring book is the BEST out there this is my fourth one cuz I keep wanting to color it all the other books suck! Not as detailed.

I really found this coloring book to be near perfect. It doesn't have 100 coloring pages of just the girls, it is filled with a lot of filler pictures of tiled cheesecake, their couch, Sophia's infamous purse, a bottle of perfume (possibly the love potion given to blanche (up for YOUR interpretation)), and other miscellaneous things that deal either with the show or Miami. There are some duds, in my personal opinion, like the two pages dedicated to a desk with some very basic makeup on it (nail polish and lipstick), but these pages also serve a really important role for me; they allow for a coloring page that I don't care too much that allows me to rip out the other side and do something with it. An issue I constantly find in coloring books is that some of the best pictures have another really good picture on the reverse side, and depending on the coloring utensils or the use of the coloring page this becomes a big issue. but there is none of this in this coloring book as every picture of one of the girls, or all of the girls, is backed by a fun, yet unnecessary coloring page. I really highly recommend this to ANYONE that likes or loves the show. I am VERY happy with this purchase and can't wait to pull out the DVD's and relax and color with my girls.It is important to note that there is only around 35 images of the girls to color. So if you're looking for a complete set of girls, then I wouldn't get this. But as this is the only book on the market I am very happy with the 35 images with quality illustrations.

The photos def show you too focus on them and relax

This is a great gift for Golden Girls fans. The book is bound nicely and the cover is thick. The only reason that I'm going with 4 stars instead of 5 is because there aren't that many pages that feature Blanche, Dorothy, Rose, and Sophia. There are a lot of pages with repeated designs of flowers, cheesecake, and paisley prints. I bought this as a gift for my sister and she loved it, but if you want a book with nothing except images of the main characters for you to color, this probably isn't the right choice for you.

This book has some great pictures to color, most if not all of which are taken directly from episode stills. I don't really enjoy the filler content (I'm looking at you page running over with random shrubbery and lipstick tubes), the lānai was equally underwhelming, and I really wish that it were single side to accommodate my Prismacolor markers, but it has given a lot of laughs and I am happy to have it in my collection. If only someone could tell me when the "227" coloring book is coming out?!

I would definitely recommend this for someone who not only likes the golden girls, but likes creative coloring in general. There’s a tropical theme too, so there are quite a bit of fruits and palm leaves but I love coloring those so no bother to me. I could do without all the perfumes & purses though. Overall - love this purchase I finished my first page, and the others are next!!!!

This is an excellent colouring book, however I do have a few minor complaints.1. In some of the pictures, Sophia looks a little bit like a meth head. Not too bad, but you still look at her and think "I didn't know Sophia's parents were siblings.2. Flowers. So many flowers. There are too many pages that are just flowers. Like bad wallpaper you have to colour.3. Not enough iconic scenes from the show. This would be a better product if you were able to colour scenes that made you remember the show more fondly. Most of them are pretty generic.This is still a high quality colouring book. Honestly, there aren't many 80's sitcom-centric colouring books which are much better than this and I refuse to support Scott Baio and his stupid Charles in Charge colouring book.

I am a huge Golden Girls fan, so I was very excited to get this. The drawings of the characters are quite faithful renderings and the mood of the non-character images suit the theme (think cheesecake and palm prints). There are a few drawbacks, but I still give it 4 stars, as I don't think that knowing these things would have kept me from buying the book. The binding makes colouring some pages a bit difficult, and pages do not tear out easily. There are lots of repeat images among the 100, just with a difference of how "close up" they are. I would also have preferred more portraits. Still a must-have for a fan.

Amazing book from amazing TV show cannot wait to start colouring this book it's going to be a laughter

I'm fairly happy with my purchase of the Golden Girls coloring book. The paper quality is very good, but the pages are double sided so skip using markers or gel pens in this book. Not every page is graced with The Golden Girls, a lot of pages are decorated with objects and designs that relate to the ladies. Overall I think I will enjoy colouring the pages.

So much fun and a good challenge.
