Amped Wireless High Power Touch Screen AC750 Wi-Fi Router tap200

This has been on Amazon for awhile, I don't understand why there are no reviews. Well, guess I am the first. I am an engineer and consider myself an above average home networking guru. I got this router for a bit over 20$, in fact so cheap, I bought 2 of them. I have to wired to my main router and located for better wifi coverage in the home. The LCD touch screen is great for setup, a bit slow, but great. Dual band with multiple SSID's give me all the flexibility I need. So far the device is very stable. Web browser config interface is very clean and intuitive. At its current price, this is one of the best dual band routers for the money.UPDATE - if you use this as a wifi bridge there is really no setting in firmware for this. Like any router, you have to disable the DHCP and plug your WAN cable into a LAN port instead of the WAN port. All works great, but the screen says "disconnected", so dont be alarmed by this. Oh, also set a static IP for the unit so you can still use the web interface.

We dont do any high bandwidth downloading or gaming. Mostly netflix, social media and shopping but it handles 8 wireless devices and a microcell just fine. My favorite part of the router is the touchscreen. I can add or remove website access in seconds, i can adjust the time my child can access the network and see what devices are connected in real time. The usb file sharing is cool also. I can add movies and music to a usb drive and play it on any device connected to the router. Performance wise, I gained 2mbps over my old router (2007 old) with the same cable modom but the most impressive gains came from wifi file sharing. On the 5k network i can share files at almost 256mbps vs the 24mbps of my old router.This router is not perfect, and not the best you can buy, but for under $35 you can't go wrong.The only issue ive had is with the clock. Everytime it syncs online it is 3hrs off. I haven't figured out how too fix this yet.

Randomly stops working throughout the day (I notice because I work at home, online). This isn't the internet going down - it's the local wireless LAN going down (you can tell because the router itself, 192.168.3.1, refuses to connect during these times).

This is a really good router. My internet is faster from the other router I had. Screen is easy to figure out. Great product

works well for the price .easy on screen set up. not to be mistaken for the more expensive touch screen models

This touch screen set up literally took less than a minute. Router provides great wireless internet throughout my small two story house. I am very happy with this purchase.

What a piece of crap. The signal is not as promised and THE slowest router I have ever seen. Cheap looking and feel to it too! YUCK!
