Loved this gown for delivery and breastfeeding
I loved this gown for delivery at the hospital. It was so comfy and soft to change into after having a baby. I love that the snaps make breast feeding easier. With the thin fabric I was able to keep cool. If was much softer than the gowns given out at the hospital. The sizing was perfect and it was flattering. I thought the value was good.

Flattering
I have recently been in the hospital and been subjected to wearing their 'gowns.' I know some people don't have a problem with them, but I do. I am 4'11" and I have yet to find a gown that fits me properly. They look like immense pools of fabric floating over a small body. The material is scratchy and comes in the most beutiful shades of washed-out gray, blue and green. Last time, it was vibrant yellow with red ties. Apparently, even hundreds of washes couldn't fade that yellow. I think the worst part is that because the sleeves are too big/long, it's diffult to find your hands for tasks such as eating, drinking and thumbing through the internet on your tablet. By the way, how do you like everyone and your roomate's family seeing your backside? I didn't think so. Help! So one night I was surfing Amazon and wondered if they had any better hospital gowns. Jackpot! I fell in love with this cute pink polka-dot one. Honestly, I wanted to buy every single one because they were so cute. It is so cute, you could wear it at home without feeling like a hospital patient. There are snaps on the sleeves and all the way down the back. You don't feel tham at all. The fabric is cotton-y and decently soft. No stretch in these gowns. The small was just about the perfect lenth for me, although the neckline was a bit wide. That's probably not an issue unless you have small, narrow shoulders like mine. I never felt exposed while wearing this gown. The price of this gown is worth every penny because it allows me to feel comfortable in a very uncomfortable place. Thankfully, my nurses didn't have a problem with me wearing my own gown, but you might not be so lucky. There's always that one nurse that insists on following all the rules.

Up size for comfort, it's a little snug
I bought this for labor and delivery. I'm 5'6 (220lbs) and typically wore large before becoming pregnant. I've gained some weight so now I'm in XL. I ended up returning the L-XL for the 2XL-3XL. Seeing as I'm barely in my second semester, the extra room for bigger belly was needed as the gown was more flattering shape wise then I thought it would be. I recommend to those wanting to feel good and comfortable on their special day, this gown is cute.

Order a size up
I purchased the pink polka dot gown in 2x-3xl as a backup since I didn’t think the original gown would arrive in time. I’m 5’2 & weighed around 174 when I went into labor. The gown was a tad bit long/big but I expected that when I sized up. It was cute & comfy. I didn’t wear it during labor & delivery as my other gown arrived early. But I did wear it the next day at the hospital. It worked well for breast feeding, skin to skin, etc. For only $13 I definitely recommend it. I’ve washed it once & it held up well in the washer & dryer.

Soft and Functional
I purchased this gown in multiple colors with adorable polka dot patterns for my mom during her extended hospital stay with a terminal illness, and it was the perfect choice. Unlike standard hospital gowns, the material is soft and comfortable, and the snap closures ensure full coverage—no worries about ties coming undone or unwanted exposure. The design also allows for easy access to ports, heart monitors, and other medical needs without compromising dignity. The nurses and doctors frequently complimented the gown, not just for its practicality but also for the cheerful polka dot patterns that brightened my mom’s days. They even agreed it was a much better option than the hospital-provided gowns. Keeping her dignity was so important to my mom, and this gown allowed her to feel more comfortable and confident. I’m incredibly grateful to have found something that provided both function and a little bit of joy during such a difficult time. Highly recommend.

Arrived Frayed and Fell Apart After Only One Wash
Very cute but poor quality hospital gown. Mine arrived frayed at the hems and as the title of this review notes, it fell apart after only one wash. Very disappointing as the cut and fabric pattern were both nice (if you look closely at the one I ordered, the floral blue, there are hummingbirds amidst the flowers!). I was temped to exchange it for a new one and hope for the best, but ultimately ended up returning it after discovering a higher quality hospital-style gown here on Amazon (search for ‘Gownies’).For a quick hospital stay, this would probably be fine and I was probably just unlucky in terms of how quickly the garment fell apart, though I’d be wary for longer-term hospital stays. At $14.99, you get what you pay for, but it’s probably not worth investing more if you’re only going to be in the hospital for a night or two and/or have a short recovery period. I do feel it’s absolutely worth it to bring your own gown(s) for longer stays. I spent half of 2022 in the hospital and I wish I’d known about hospital style gowns like this much sooner as the standard issue hospital ones are way too large, ugly, bunch up easily (drove me nuts!), have lots of strings to tie, and just leave you feeling exposed. For longer stays, they will let you wear pajamas from home, but there will still be times (exams and various treatments) where a gown is necessary to give health care workers access to your body.
