Learning Resources Math Whiz Challenge for 5 years to 9 years

Great fun for my 6 year old granddaughterEasy to use and good value for money

This does look like a giant calculator so would look better with a larger screen to be more attractive to a child. Having said that my 8 year old granddaughter loves doing sums and the puzzles have kept her busy.

My son is very much into maths & numbers so loved this. However I think the interest would have to be there first. Other than the colours there isn’t really much appealing to a child, it’s not so much of a toy and nothing enticing, no playful sounds, lights etc. More of a pretty calculator with mathematical equations but if your child is a number buff anyway you can’t go wrong - my son loves it!

My nephew loves this. It was the winner this Christmas. Any child who likes maths will love this. Easy to use, durable and fun way to learn

I bought this for learning multiplication, did not like it so returned it. My 7 year old son played with this for less than 5 minutes and said I don't like this! and I couldn't agree more. Its very boring, level 1 for multiplication is the chosen multiplication in order, level 2 is going backwards; e.g 12x3, 11x3, 10x3 and so on.... level 3 is mixed and then level 4 is something ridiculous like 346x3 there were two more levels which we didn't bother looking at. My son enjoys using his wipe clean book for learning his multiplications then he did this! I also found that the screen wasn't very clear because of the angle you can't see the numbers properly. Personally I think you would be better off downloading a multiplication/ division/ subtraction/ addition game on a phone or tablet then buy this. Finally its too expensive for what it is!!

The display is dark and impossible to seeUnusable

Fun for adults and children has many levels. Use with a times table chart and calculator for young ones. My 5 and 6 year love to work out the sums. The machine lets you know if you have got it right. It is good for them to put their skills to good use and give the not so educational machines a rest. Really good buy.

This is great the only issue is the display goes so far to the edge it's very hard to read the first digit

I used this to help my elementary school kid with Math because they were struggling. This helped so much because now my kid has learned a lot and this made it fun so they would want to learn. I suggest this if you have a kid that's struggling with math. This should most definitely have it to were they would want to learn. It's worth the money.

Bought this for my 4 year old son who loves math. Love that you have addition, subtraction, multiplication and division on this device as compared to the math slam where you don’t have all 4. Perfect for his little hands and great tool to stimulate his brain.
