Best knife
Very nice knife. Top quality .I purchased it in 2014. Now, 11 years later, I’m still using it daily. I’m considering send it back to shun for free sharpening service.

Be careful! It’s sharp!
Good lord what an amazing knife. I’ve been using Cutco knives for years and I’m having a hard time with resisting the urge to replace all of my perfectly fine cutlery with Shun’s knives.

Beautiful and sharp
The balance on this knife is phenomenal and the way that balance couples with the keenest edge of all my knives makes processing something like a burdock root crazy easy. This was my first “good” knife, and I’m afraid I’m spoiled for anything else.

So worth it
The quality is amazing from this company. I enjoy using them. Cuts like butter. Highly recommend. I even got 3 more knives I loved it that much. Worth every penny.

Not Up To Shun's Previous Quality
I've been a proud owner of a large set of Shun Knives for over 10 years. I've talked many of my friends into purchasing Shun knives. I because of my love for these knives I decided to add a Nakiri to my collection two months ago. Last week I used the knife and noticed three "bubbles" in the blade's cutting edge. In addition, one of them was rusting. I contacted Shun Kia USA about the issue. They have not returned my email. Today, I tried to have Amazon replace it; however, I'm a couple of days past the deadline.Needless to say I am not a happy camper at this point. If this is the "new standard" of KIA USA's quality and customer service, this will be the last time they will see a penny from me.
