Very powerful pump, but does not have on/ off switch, had purchase a switch.

I installed this product on my in-ground pool. the pressure was great and it was very quiet. the suction was low in my opinion. i checked and actually flushed the lines to be sure there was no blockage. the "product return time" was far beyond expired when i contacted the company. rather than giving me excuses and empty promises, they offered me a refund. this shows a lot about this company. I WILL buy from them again because they stood behind their product and wanted to make the situation right. thanks, Eric

I ordered this pump based on good reviews, and affordability. It's very easy to install, it's quiet, the build quality is good, however, it's not powerful enough for my 36,000-gallon pool. My old pump with less horsepower would completely clear the water in 48hrs, it's been 48hrs with this pump, it moves the water but it's less effective, I noticed that by the suction flow in the skimmer too. for smaller pools I think this pump is a great deal.

Received the replacement pump for our pool quickly. Seems to be a good replacement. Only cons I have is it doesn't have a switch to turn it off and on and it is not as quiet as last pump we had.

Pump works great but the special threaded adapters/fittings didn’t arrive with the pump and when I ask about it I was told they were purchased internationally and wouldn’t see any for three months. In the meantime my pump is installed with fittings from hardware store but continues to leak!

Ok the one I bought replaced a burned-out Pentair pump after three years. The price is great and when arrived it looked well packaged and strong. I used 1.5 PVC to join the pump to the filter and suction line., Simple to do purple prime couple of fittings and glue. Be sure to coat the gasket with silicone Lube prior to install. Afet priming and starting worked great for my 15,000 in ground pool with four in pool jets.Now what everyone wants to know is how to convert from (default 110Volts) to 220-230 volts. If you are keeping it 110-115 just plug it in to a water proof GFCI outlet and hook up the motor top ground connection. If you are converting to 220-230 volt. Remove the cap on the back of the pump and push the switch t0 220-230 volt side. DO NOT UNCOVER THE PUMP! replace the cap on the switch. Cut the plug off with a good wire cutter. You will have three wires White, Black, and Green. Green ii ground .. Now white and black are both hot! Hook up the black to one leg of the 220 circuit and the white to the other leg of the 220 circuit.Hook up the motor ground and your done.. I also have my pump ion a 220 v GFCI breaker.Hope that helps.. Pump is working great. Will report back in 6 months of use...

It came a day earlier than expected. It is bigger than I expected. Replacing a 1.5hp with this. Haven't plumbed it in yet but I'm looking forward to it.

It’s a great pump for the price works great was pretty easy to set up. Had to get a couple parts locally but works great

Replaces a 1 1/2 HP. I see the difference in pressure. I have about 3 hundred feet of black pipe solar heating on my garage roof, and there is no problem circulating the water up and back. Came in one day and after about three weeks everything is good.

As promised, I would edit my review once a solution once reached. I had a defective lid for the 2hp model pump that would not seal properly. It appears to be a common issue, unfortunately. After a week with the customer service team, a solution was reached and the unit was replaced free of charge. The new unit is BETTER but not perfect. A+ service, hope the product performs as well!

the bolts on the pump were louse and the pump was leaking, the pump worked great with the new part. And it was a great savings

Had to return because this pump did not fit the Coleman pool.
