I do like this brush, but it's NOT boar bristles! It's just synthetic bristles! FALSE ADVERTISING!
Ok, I like this brush well enough, especially LOVE that it's curved! It fits my head so much better, and is much more thorough (and timesaving!) since it brushes a larger area by including more of your head's hair at once. BUT, note that this is NOT boar bristles--it's regular old synthetic bristles--probably nylon. I personally prefer boar bristle brushes because it distributes the hair's own natural oils from the scalp area of the head down through and including the ends. Synthetic (non-boars) bristles do not do that, which means the oil is still going to remain on your scalp, and the hair closest to your scalp, but not going to be distributed through to the ends of your hair, meaning hair will look oily (nearest your scalp) much sooner than it would by using a boar bristle brush. Also, most synthetic bristles actually scratch your scalp which hurts! Boar's bristles don't scratch--they actually feel nice on your scalp, very gentle. That being said, even though these are not boar bristles, I haven't notice any sharp bristles that scratch my scalp, even though this IS synthetic bristles. Time will tell. I so wish this was real boar's bristles, because I like this brush's other attributes. I'd pay more for boar bristles. But as it is, at least this brush still feels pretty good and is ingeniously shaped by being curved. But please, please change the title and descriptions of these brushes to remove the words "boar bristle", as that is false advertising. (Sellers and manufacturers: "Boar Bristle" is not simply some jargon created by advertising departments--it's a real attribute based on real, actual boar bristles--the hair from hogs! Please don't just include that phrase into your title and descriptions unless it truly IS boar bristles. It makes you seem untrustworthy and underhanded and foolish.)
