This is a very high quality tool. The weight is very good, and holds down bacon that likes to curl up. Which is horrible if you want a crunchy rind and fat that is rendered.This would be great on a bbq. It can absolutely handle the heat.The handle being wood never got hot.Easy to clean.The underside has no ridges and is completely flat, which I wanted. You can even use it for grilling sandwiches, burgers. It’s just so good.I know this tool will last longer than my grill I have! That reminds me I need a new grill…..

Well worth it. Solid weighty feel. I hate flimsy crap. This is NOT flimsy crap. Easy to clean. Don't put it in dishwasher, it's got a wooden handle.

This is a very satisfying, solid burger press that doesn't flex or bend under load and gives your arm a gym workout while squashing your burger patty as wide and thin as you'd like it. Bit of a pain to hand wash due to the wooden handle but worth it and I think it will probably last a lifetime. A joy to use.

Exactly as expected. You can see some dimples where the screws are, but on my one they are smooth and it doesn't affect the use of the product. It is nicely made, a good weight to it, used it once so far, will see how it lasts

Great product and good weight. Glad I purchased it over the cast iron press. Used it to make smash burgers and also for mushroom steak. The raw meat didn’t stick while pressing. Love it!
