Bought to extend my screen workspace.Great design. Good screen quality. No glare. Comes with hdmi cable and uk and European connection.Screen can be tilted. Has small round circle as feet so takes up little room. Great monitor for a great price.

I bought 2 of these monitors to replace a single/smaller monitor and what a difference.Physically they are very light and very thin (the main screen), with quite a solid base "arm" that's connected to the back of the monitor -- this levers out -- the round base stand screen to the bottom of the lever arm and you can easily do this with a small screw driver, a coin or with the handy clip thats connected to the screw.Setting them up is very easy, and it's mainly to screw the bottom in and remove the protective labels.The bezel on the edges is also very slim so having the two monitors side by side -- really gives a massive window/real estate for the destop to be supplied.Connections on this monitor are as described, power, via a small transformer and VGA or HDMI.Set-up and connection very easy and once I turned my PC on again, the 1st (and 2nd screen), where automatically recrognised so no changing any settings from the PC/screen management software.I'm running these two on a Nvidia GTX 660 grapshics card -- so quite an old card by todays's standards.1st impressions both screens very sharp/clear and now a massive amount of space to run/appiclations and dock windows.This was main main reason for the purchase as my PC @ work is dual montior and if/when working at home found the productivity dropped due to having to juggle apps on the desktop.Very pleased with the buy and quality of these montiors for the price.

This monitor is exactly what I was looking for. I purchased this for gaming, and so far have had no issues with the screen or graphics. It looks great and fit in perfectly on my desk. For the price and what I needed the monitor for, it really is good value. The stand that comes with the monitor is really easy to attach and assemble, and the screen tilts to a position that suits you. The 27" screen is a perfect size for gaming and the white colour really stands out.It came undamaged and well packaged with everything needed in the box, the only issue was the power cable provided was an EU plug, meaning I needed an adaptor or new power cable to be able to use. Once I had sorted this out, it was really easy to assemble and set up.Would definitely purchase again

I've bought Asus monitors before and they've all been great, and this is no exception. Bought this 27" Asus after I accidentally smashed my old 24" monitor. Wow, what a difference a few inches makes! I use my PC mainly for playing games, watching videos, and the usual browsing/email etc, and going from 24" to 27" makes a world of difference. As for build and image quality, well it's the usual high quality you'd expect from Asus. My only criticism is that using the settings buttons on the underside of the monitor can be a bit fiddly, but this is a common problem with monitors.HOWEVER: This is a 1080p monitor, not 4K. What does this mean? It means it is high definition, but not the absolute highest. If your eyesight is very good and you sit close enough, you will probably notice the pixels, mostly on fonts. How bad is this? Well for the vast majority of people it will simply not be an issue. If you are a graphic designer who needs the absolute ultra-sharpest image possible then you will want something else. For the rest of us, this will serve our needs very well.

I needed to replace my old Samsung 19" monitor that was ~14 years' old. As I am not interested in playing games it is difficult to rate that particular feature, but the colour balance and screen quality is very good. I had considered the ASUS VS248HR (gaming 1ms) at a similar price point, but decided in favour of an IPS panel (~5ms). I have used someone else's VS248HR and would have been perfectly happy with that model, but for my needs (general use, browsing, images etc, viewing angles), the VZ249HE was my preferred choice.The first thing I did after plugging it in to my desktop machine, running Linux Mint (18.3, XFCE), was to calibrate it using Dispcal in conjunction with an X-rite i1Display 2 monitor calibration, which produced an excellent display. For its price I believe it is really good value, and when calibrated would be difficult to beat. The only things that I would say are its negative points which may be important for some people are: screen only tilts, no vertical adjustment; no Vesa mounting; separate power block; it does not come with an HDMI lead.For its price and quality of the display (calibrated), I think I would have had to spend a lot more to improve on this particular model.

It's a nice monitor that produces a pleasing sharp colourful image. No eye strain and easy to set up. Works flawlessly with a ZenBook I can recommend this model.

Preis/Leistung geht voll in Ordnung!Angenehmes Bild, gute Reaktionszeit - nutze den Monitor für Office-Anwendungen und Internet. Ob er sich fürs gaming eignen würde, kann ich somit nicht beurteilen.Für meine Zwecke passt er optimal!
