It has excellent air flow and its quiet. Mine is on a rug. Not sure if being placed directly on wood or tile floor would make it noisy. But its very quiet on the rug I have it on. It's also a nice size so its easily placed without standing out. Great product!

I gave it 5 stars. It came packaged nicely. However the 25 feet of hose was not pre-cut. There wasn't enough to make four lines from the pump to the pond, so I had to supplement with hose from the old pump.

It sure would have been helpful if you had included written instructions. I guess I put it together correctly. It blows bubbles.

Only one star because most people read the bad stuff first. You decide what's important. Pump looks good and works well for the time being. Very quiet, Nice tubing and large air balls. For time being its 5 star, but after searching for a manual ( wanted to know what to do with ports I don't need) I cant find any directions or who to contact even though they have a storefront. Could not find a way to contact seller for a couple of questions. There is no mention of any type of warranty past the 30 days that amazon gives. So if you bought it, It's yours, no extensions or warranty, the reason for only one star. For the price it should have a year at least in my opinion. As far as function it looks like it is fairly rain proof if kept off the ground. I turned a small plastic tote over it. Only had it a couple of days but appears to be good quality, lots of air. In only using it in rain barrels with a few goldfish to keep mosquitos down. It does push air easily at least to a depth of 3 feet.Update: Definitely a one star. Set this up in a fish tank while on 3 week vacation. Came back, pump is not working, all my fish are dead, air hoses will not stay on. There is no barb to hold the hoses, so on a hot day it lets hoses come off, air hose is to flexible, the pressure of the pump when it works at 3ft, blows the hoses off easily. Was 104 degrees in Texas while gone, so not too surprised.. Don't know why it quit pumping air because its vibrating like it should be working. I don't know how to make the hoses stay on unless there are some very small clamps out there I don't know about. Fortunately the goldfish were from a bait shop and relatively cheap , but still there were 3 dozen so still a little high. Returning for an exchange to give it another shot, will have to make some adjustments for the hoses, twist ties or zips maybe. i like the way it looks and when I first got it, so going to try again, since I will be home to keep an eye on it..UPDATE: Amazon was prompt on sending new unit before sending in defective unit. I made some adjustments that I hope will fix the problems. I purchased spring clamps for 3/16 hose but they were still too large, so don't try those, so used zip ties. Appears to be more solid. The air intake is on the bottom of the unit and could easily suck up water, so the pump needs to be placed on something above ground level to prevent rain water getting in. I placed on a small brick and turned a shoebox tote over it. The air intake has a small felt filter inside, that will require changing pretty often. If it works out I will change rating up. Added a few pics to help maybe.

The media could not be loaded. Seems to run well. I had another one before this that got wet and quit working. So I was sure to put this one in a water proof box so the rain doesn’t get to it.

Bought to keep the water in my horses 100 gallon trough from icing up in the winter. It comes with 4 very large air balls. I have not had an issue with ice since installing. I simply unplug it when the weather will be above freezing. The animals don’t mind the bubbles either

This product works. I bought it to ensure the surface water doesn’t freeze over while my wife and I were traveling away from home. As the photos clearly show, the water wanted to freeze, but is ice free above the bubbles.

It’s good for an aquarium, expected it to have more power.
