There are many types of thumb splints out there and most of them are very bulky, too rigid and impossible to function in. These may be worn all day, there is a reinforcing wire along the thumb which helps the splinting effect. Mostly they look like very stylish gloves - so no issues wearing it all the time! Really helps with my thumb pain

I bought this hoping it would prevent me from moving my thumb very much, or at the least provide additional support while moving. It does neither. It's too large to provide much of a brace, and the Velcro strap on the wrist doesn't do anything to prevent the thumb from moving. It only squeezes the wrist. The fabric isn't right enough or sturdy enough to stop the thumb from moving either, so it still moves, just in a much less natural motion.

The wrist and thumb brace is working well so far" the material seems a little thin🤔 but that's not a bad thing, if it's durable" and holds up, I haven't used it to work with yet, I've only been wearing it, but it seems to be Great " so far it's sleek and comfortably design and allows me to put my hands in my pockets easily to get my car keys, wallet or whatever I need into tight spaces, and still gives me the support I need rather than the bulky ones, I've already plan on buying a couple more" to have for standby, this is definitely a Good item" not going to say it's a sure Fit and Cure for Everyone" but it's working for Me" so far, so I give it five stars 😉👍UPDATE" Ive Been Wearing This for a few weeks now, especially while I'm at work, doing Jeep modifications , this Product is Definitely been a Game Changer for my over all every day Life Task, Work Comfort and Well-Being .

Not much support, but because of that, you can wear it doing most tasks. But it does help some. Of course, my injury was not just simply scrolling too much. Nice that it is water resistant.

I over stretched my thumb and this product works well with my busy work life. Vey comfortable, size was perfect. As for pain relief it didn't help to much.

This came in a zipper sealed packet. It's very stretchy cool like material. Think like thin spandex or very tights. There is a flexible metal support piece on the outside thumb area. This is perfect for me since it helps keep my thumb pointed in, not out in the hitch hike position. If your thumb is more comfirtable pointing out this may not be right for you. It is more like a support than a brace. It's pretty comfortable to wear.
