This was a great short-sleeved hoodie, that is actually thicker material than I was expecting. It will be great for when fall weather moves in and it's cool enough for an outer garment but not quite cold enough for a jacket. I wear this to sporting events and love the compliments I have received. I have added another one in a different color to my gift list for Christmas!

Perfect for those mildly cool summer nights

It’s not often you see a short-sleeved shirt with a hood but when Russell Athletics does it, with exceptional comfort combined with all the style features they are known for, it really works.I ordered the large, navy blue version for my husband. He loves this shirt. When he went to try it on, he left it on and wore it the rest of the day.it came loaded with style features, including: A three-piece jersey-lined hood, Raglan, set-in, loose fitting sleeves that hit just above the elbows, A front pouch pocket with zipped compartment for essentials such as ID, keys, a “just in case” extra twenty dollar bill, driver’s license… Two-tone, navy and white braided draw cord for the hood, The letter “R” logo for Russell on the left sleeve.On the comfort level, this shirt scores right up there at the top with: Again, the loose fitting, raglan sleeves for ease of movement, A longer back than front (so when you are seated, it covers more of you and fits better), A jersey fabric lining in the hood (less likely to catch and muss-up your hair), An exceptionally soft, 66% cotton and 34% polyester tech fleece body, Side vents, A true-to-size fit.That’s a whole lot of good stuff to put into one shirt!

This hoodie has been great for weight lifting and any other sports where sleeves would constrict your movement but a vest isn't warm enough, like shooting baskets. The great thing is that the smooth finish of the inside fabric allows for free movement and ease of putting on/taking off without sacrificing warmth. The fact that the bottom is straight hemmed instead of the usual stretch band around the waist allows it to move with you and avoid the bunching that always occurs with typical hoodies and sweatshirts if you extend or stretch out such as when you're jumping, reaching or lunging. Also very handy to have included a zipper pocket where the pouch for your hand is on most hoodies, means that have a secure place for that key, driver's license, or money for the after-game snacks or drinks.

I love how it feels and how well it fits. The material is soft but dense, it helps to keep the wind out and it’s warm too. The mid length sleeves are nice, I was always rolling up my sleeves, but these are a perfect length. I wear it with a short-sleeved T-shirt under it, but a long-sleeved T-shirt would work great too! On other sweatshirts I would always put my wallet and keys in the hand pouch and when I bent over, they would fall out. This has a front zippered pocket, it’s great for keys, a wallet or medicine like glucose tablets etc… and still has the Front pouch pocket to keep my hands warm. Great design! The length is nice as well; longer in the back with side vents so it doesn’t bind up. I have Russell sweatpants as well. Their quality stands up to any manufacturer. I highly recommend this sweatshirt.

Sizing is correct , order your usual size,good quality material, smart and fashionable
