Easy to use for a smooth head quickly

So for the last few years I've been sporting a Skull Shaver Pitbull Gold Pro, but the cutting element isn't as good as it once was, and there's wear and tear and chipping on the "paint work". Replacement heads are like £33, which isn't great considering I got the shaver in a Black Friday deal for dirt cheap.Vine saw my pain and furnished me with this The Bald Express head shaver.This arrived in a box much bigger than anticipated, but inside was a large carry case within which sat the shaver, various attachments, charging cable, and cleaning brush.The shaver itself is smaller than my Pitbull Gold Pro, slightly lighter, but, does feel less premium in quality, but only just, and there is a gulf in price difference between the two products.The shaver is very easy to set up, very intuitive, and came fully charged according to the display, so ready to shave, and having a day or two of head stubble, it came at just the right time.The shaver glided over the head smoothly, it didn't pull the hairs or anything, just went over the bumps and lumps of my head (I mean no head is all shiny smooth in all dimensions, but I'm not a Mr. Potato Head, honest...) However, I did find myself having to go over the same areas multiple times to get the cut I wanted, odd considering the 5 blade doodads.The shaver feels, to me, to be slightly underpowered, it doesn't feel as powerful as my Pitbull, which probably explains why I had to go over the same parts multiple times. Granted I have to sometimes do this with the Pitbull, but not as often as I had to with the Bald Express.It took maybe 10 minutes to do a shave I was happy with rather than the usual 5 minutes or less with the Pitbull. That said, the battery seems to be holding out better than my Pitbull, but then the latter is several years old with every other day use.Cleaning it is a doddle, a quick rinse, a quick wipe and you're done.In short, this set is very good value for money, I just wish it was a liiiiitle bit more powerful.

After looking at countless comparisons,I decided on the bald brosAbsolutely fantastic. No shaver will be closer than a razor,but this is as close as it could get imo.Way closer than my old clippers..well pleased👍

This shaver is a great design and feels so comfortable to hold and it moves over the skin with such ease. Also the fact that the rotary shaver heads move so freely it allows for a very close finish. The rechargeable nature of the product is to be expected and there is a clear display to show how much percentage of battery you have left.The case which holds everything together is a nice touch, although it is rather bulky so feel a smaller case would probably be much more practical in reality.Unfortunately what lets this shaver down is that it is just not anywhere near as powerful as you need it to be. When you turn the shaver on, it sounds and feels like you have put it on a lower setting and that you want to be able to move it up a setting or two. In reality the shaver only has the one setting and it just doesn't have the oomph needed. It is a shame and really lets the product down.

I was quite cynical when I first saw this skull shaver..My cynicism was truly eradicated upon using it for the first time..I heartily recommend this for anyone who understands the importance of a smooth and beautiful head!

This has been a good selection, as I was getting stubble rash on my upper neck from using a razor consistently. For shaving my head it's great. Fits well in the hand and is easy to reach all those trickier places. I found that wet shaving every other day in the shower gets the best results. If I'm in a rush, I can get a decent enough shave in just a few mins. If I've got a bit more time, I'll go over my skull again with a bit more gel, for a closer shave. I've used it a couple of times for a dry shave and the results are ok, it hasn't pulled at the skin as much as some cheaper alternatives tend to do. I also use the clipper and comb attachment to trim my beard. It's ok, but not great. The clipper head is on the smallish side but does function. Cleaning is easy, a quick rinse in a shallow sink of water whilst shaving clears most of the stubble.Overall, a decent shaver that has met expectation and that I'd be happy to recommend.

I was reading a few reviews and was getting worried that this handheld head shaver may not be up to the job, that it may be underpowered for the task.I needn’t have worried. I am more than happy with it and for me does the job more than well.It’s very ergonomic and sits in your hand nicely, feeling weighty enough to know it’s not a flimsy piece of tech, but not to heavy as to be uncomfortable.The snap on protective cover fits perfectly. Press the on button and glide this thing around your head. I don’t have a lot of hair to worry about but I like to shave my head every couple of days. This thing has the job done in five minutes.The digital display lets you know how much charge you have left. The head is magnetic and cleaning is a breeze. Simply snap off the head and knock out the shavings.I don’t have a problem with the speed, but I don’t have anything to compare it to either. For me, the single speed works well. It does slow if you apply too hard pressure on your head but as I say, it does the job.The protective case finishes the package off a treat. Really impressed with this I’ve always been a wet razor shaver in the shower for years. This changes things for me.

Terrible Quality fell to bits

This shaver is pretty good. I’ve been shaving my head with electric face razors for years now and this is the first one I’ve had specifically made for head-shaving. I works extremely well. It went from 100 to 79 in the one use I had, which I don’t think is bad for shaving a full head and with so many blades. The pictures are with 3 full days growth. It gave me a nice close shave. The handhold is ok. I’m still getting used to it after using normal face shavers. Emptying it was very easy. The blade assembly comes right off and pops back on via a magnet. The blade shield and travel case are great for keeping it protected. I’m definitely happy with it and recommend it.

Handles well for large hands, close clean, shave, and charges hold up for a while

This kit would be nothing short of awesome if it had more power/torque. It's got a great variety of attachments, which are all easy to connect or disconnect, and I really like the shape of the main power unit. It feels great in my hand. Unfortunately, it just seems to work at a lower intensity, and therefore, doesn't cut nearly as well. I have two other sets of clippers - one corded and one cordless, and both of a more traditional shape. They clearly have more power and do a much better job with cutting/trimming. In the end, I'll still keep and use the unit for things like it's ear and nose hair trimmer attachment, but I'll leave the heavier duty work to my other clippers. Because of the limited capabilities, I can't recommend the product to others.

My husband shaves his head a few times a week and usually uses a head blade with shaving cream to get it baby smooth. Sometimes when it is long (and he hasn't shaved for a few days) it is hard for him to shave with the razor. This electric shaver is perfect for taking the long hair down so that he can shave much more easily. It's also great for travel and daily shaving. Really pleased with the shape and battery life. Great product!

The Bald Express Electric Head Shaver is easy to use and simple to clean. It is compact and portable but also comfortable to hold. The illuminated digital battery level display is convenient and the assortment of accessories makes this shaver versatile.After about 10 minutes of shaving his head, the battery level was down to 82 percent. My partner likes that the blades contoured to his head and delivered a close and smooth shave. He also commented that the blades are simple to detach and easy to clean.The battery life on this device is better than he expected. He has been able to use this device to shave his head 3-4 times before recharging. This shaver has consistently delivered a close and smooth shave. I love rubbing his bald head and not feeling any stubble. Unfortunately, he has not used the other attachments yet but he is very satisfied with the shaver.
