Excellent landline phone. It is great value for money, very compact, can be wall mounted nicely, and has decent audio qualitySome minor drawbacks:The ring volume is a bit on the lower side ( but adequate)There is no speakerphone mode.The phone jack going into the receiver is a non standard (narrow) plug, so you can't use an ordinary plug directly.The receiver wire goes straight into your wall socket, so you should be a bit careful when pulling the receiver. It also means you must have a female rj11 socket to use the phone. In my case we had a direct rj11 male plug coming into the house so we had to add an adapter.

It is good product. Worth for money. If you need simple landline phone. You can go for this. Because of brand cost is high. May be 200 less will give more sales. Replacement was immediately done. Now the product works as expected. Sound is very less not good for old people

Ringer at full volume is barely audibleProduct is replacement only. So you can't return if disappointed. Using it as a wall hanging now.Very poorly written manual, does not explain process of saving / retrieving numbers.LED screen does not have any light, so poor readability and as the screen is on the other side of the buttons, it is impractical to use as you have to keep turning the unit around to see what you have typed.Overall - exceptionally poor product design.Only redeeming quality is the decent length of the wire supplied.

Phone is good, all functions works well. I have seen few reviews where they say it falls off from the cradle. Actually there is a small hook near to the ear piece which needs to be reversed. That acts as a hook to the phone and it stays there.....I would suggest everyone to read the manual first then use the phone, rather than commenting.I would recommend it to everyone who needs a landline phone and can use it with broadband connection. Cheap and best. Only downside I can see is the ringtone, that is bit on the lower side, rest everything is good.

Not used enough to rate

As many reviews would suggest this phone ring rather subtly. I have set the ringer at third and lowest setting. But that is perfect for bedroom.It has three level for conversion volume as well.Base of the phone is just a piece of plastic to put the phone down. Cable connect from wall socket to hand set directly.My recommendation is to use it as second phone either set on table or wall

Product is not useful as it has multiple issues1. Ring volume is very low2. Display is useless as numbers are not clearly visible and with extra long font size it become even more useless3. Display and keyboard are on opposite side hence really inconvenientOnly good thing is product looks good and is compact

The Alcatel T-16 wall mountable telephone instrument is sleek and compact but the connecting wire between the handset and the instrument is of poor quality which remains twisted for a long time. The RJ-11 telephone jacks fitted on the handset and the base are of different sizes.
