It is so tall it took a good 3-4 days to figure out that as a nighttime sleeping pillow it works extremely well for my specific needs!!First, for medical reasons I sleep only on my back. The pillow is tall, from right above my ears to my shoulders. I wear my earrings 24/7/365 so I’m still working around that. But the difference it makes for my neck is better than anything else I’ve tried over the years. Plus, my mouth has never stayed closed (tried several of the chin bands, several of the tape over the lips, the regular u-shaped neck pillows - one in front and one behind neck. All fails. But this thing is actually high enough to cover my chin!! It can even keep my lips together, depending on which way I’ve turned my head. I’m quite pleased.But BEWARE, the force is mighty with the Velcro so have something to slide over the Velcro side when you take it off for the day.

I recently had 24-30hr travels from west coast USA to Europe and back for work. I've never been able to sleep on flights before, but I wanted to try again with a new pillow. This worked PERFECTLY. It fits snugly without being too tight and totally prevented my chin from dipping down. I can't imagine a long flight without this pillow now! The fabric was nice, the velcro worked well to hold it in place, and it was relatively easy to roll back up to store. I will be recommending this to anyone I come across who needs to try to sleep on a plane!

Yall this was a game changer. I flew from LAX to South East Asia with a long haul 13 hour flight then a 6 hour flight. When I tell you I did not have jet lag because I got the best sleep ever I’m not exaggerating. I was in economy which is important to note also and I was able to on all flights get great sleep so even with the 13 hour time change I was not groggy and enjoyed myself start to finish. Bought it for my daughter who travels back and forth from college. She loves it! Her neck rests comfortably on the pillow. This item is less expensive and works just as well as the other neck pillow very similar to this one and it’s not expensive.

Love this travel pillow! The velour cover is so soft and plush, I love it in every color! I also love that it is washable. The velcro attachment works better for me because I can adjust it to be thinner and tighter. My son has a travel pillow that uses a different fastener and it is too loose and needs to provide more support. This pillow is very supportive and cradles your head just right.

I bought this for my long flight oversea and the pillow held up pretty well. I like the fact it it snugged right around your neck - this to eliminate the pain from sleeping in the wrong position.I also used this put this on top of the food tray on the airplane to change my position inflight.This is pretty good for the price compared to other brand and it is so comfy. Great purchase !

Pillow seems soft/comfortable and not "too tight" around the neck nor "too tall" for a short neck. I like that the cover is removable for washing. I ordered this for my elderly mother, but she didn't make friends with it, so we'll use it in our car. I think it may work OK for occasional use in the car, but I wouldn't take it on a train/plane. 2 shortcomings: There's no way to hang/attach the pillow (e.g. to a strap or suitcase) without its (rather small) separate storage bag. Also, the protective velcro piece (which covers one velcro patch when it's not in use so the velcro doesn't catch on clothing, upholstery, etc.) is an entirely separate piece. If you remove the protective piece to use the velcro at the 2 ends of the pillow, you have to keep track of that separate piece. It seems it would be only a matter of time before that small piece of velcro is lost.
