Easy to assemble and easy to use
First impresssions are important and this product delivers on that regard. One quick swipe with the utility blade and the box was opened. I really liked his simply the parts were packaged with everything fitting neatly and nothing “falling out.” However, I also quickly noticed that I did not find any instructions. Other than the parts, some cardboard pieces, and a small paper pouch, there were no written instructions. I looked at the outer box and found a QR code. Unfortunately, I am not a fan of using QR codes (for security reasons) so I went to the product web site to find the instructions. Even better, I found a video. That video started with the philosophy behind how the product was packaged, so my first impression is exactly what the company was going for and it was an interesting enough video to watch. I did find another video with the assembly instructions. Two minutes later, I had assembled the rack.My second impression was that the rack was on the small side. I thought that would be good for portability, but I questioned the trade off on stability. I have an e-bike that easily tops 70+ lbs. and rolled it into the rack. It worked perfectly although I was not completely sold on the stability performance. I have found that you have to be fairly deliberate with how you align the bike when rolling into the rack so that the bike is completely vertical with no lean. This has meant that I would sometimes need to pick up (the very heavy) tail end of my bike and shift it over to get this alignment. The battery tray and velcro hold down is a very nice touch, but I charge my battery off the bike in a fireproof bag, so that is not as useful to me. If you charge your battery on the bike, this is a very thoughtful design that even accounts for convenient cord management. This rack would well be worth your time.

A Pricey but Well-built Bike Stand
The media could not be loaded. I own a 10+ year old ‘Ultimate’ Bike Repair Stand that still works great. That company became Feedback Sports and they still make one of the best repair stands out there. When I saw they had a floor stand for bike storage I suspected it would be of good quality. What I wasn’t sure of is the single arm that grips the wheel. The current (off brand) stand I have uses an arm on both sides of the wheel. See the attached pictures for comparison. The Rakk 2.0 E bike stand comes mostly assembled. There are no paper instructions, but there is an instructional video that show assembly. Insert all (4) base screws loosely and then place it on a flat surface before tightening them. This will ensure all four feet are level. The bolt up top then unscrews to allow placement of the ‘funnels’ and to adjust the size for the wheel of your bike. This ‘eBike’ version adds a removable tray and magnets (over the base Rakk 2.0). The tray and magnets keep the charger and wire of the floor. The tray can be placed on either side of the stand. This is a nice idea if your power brick currently sits on the floor. One thing to keep in mind is where your power outlet and bike charging port is located. Youi’ll have to experiment where you put the magnets based in which wheel (front vs rear) you load into the holder. We tend to use the rear wheel and you can see in the photo that we just left our power brick on the wall where it already was. If you already have your power brick out of the way, you may want to save a few bucks and buy the regular Rakk 2.0 instead.Comparing it against my old stand which has two thinner arms to support the wheel, the Rakk 2.0 is easier to roll the wheel into and the stand doesn’t slide when you do it. My old stand easily slides unless you pick up the wheel when putting it in. The bike also has a little less wobble in the Rakk when in place. The stand itself stays very firmly planted on the floor. The Rakk 2.0 takes zero effort to intentionally fold. My old stand also folds, but a pin must be pulled out to make it do so.The main negative to the Rakk 2.0 E is its relatively high price. It is a quality product though. If you want the best single bike floor stand, this is probably it.

Sturdy and well-designed
I’ve owned several Feedback products over the years and all have been outstanding. The RAKK 2.0 E Bike Storage is no exception. This is a nice upgrade from their previous bike storage rack which I’ve been using for 4 years and still works well. The parts are all well padded and secure in the box, and it takes less than 10 minutes to assemble it. I was surprised to see that the box did not contain assembly instructions, although it was really easy to put together. There are only four bolts to tighten the base to the two feet. Then I looked at the Feedback website to make sure I did it right, just in case. There is a nice video provided on their site for usage and assembly, so check that out first before unpacking. The features I really like about this rack is that it holds my road bike with 700cm wheels very securely with the only contact points being on the front or back tire. There are several positions to adjust the height of the wheel holder depending upon the wheel diameter, and the highest position works well for a standard road wheel. The feet are wider than the previous version and the thick rubber pads on the ends provide a non-slip grip with the ground. I don’t use the cable holder at this point, but if/when I get an ebike, this seems like a thoughtful add-on to make charging the battery more convenient. This is another well-made product from Feedback Sports. Although it may be a little pricier than some bike stands, it’s definitely worth it as it will work well for a very long time. Highly recommend!!
