Nice unit let's you have more blade exposed so I the handle doesn't drag on the dough.Got the one with the blade cover, kind of a pain to get the cover on because it needs to have the blade slide in 2 little slots and then a magnet holdes the cover on

Love this lame. Never used the round one though

This is a high quality bread lame and works great for my home bakery. The knife has a nice grip and nice design making it easy handle. So far the blade has held up great as well and have made well over 100 loafs so far.

I've been making sourdough for about 2 years and finally decided to upgrade from my round lame. I like that more of the blade is exposed and makes for a nice cut. I'm not sure which style I like the most. Both work very well.

Love having both of these items. They make a great set, easy to handle and loved the covered blades!
