I thought it was just green but the inside silver was great. I love it more now
OK it has been awhile since I did a reviews of the products I purchase on Amazon but I have to write up a review for this tarp. I took it out the other day here in east Texas and it was not really freezing cold but I did set it up over my hammock to keep the dew off of me. I had a small fire in front of the tarp and it with the back side down and then over the hammock. As I was laying there I had my light hung over me and the silver lining reflected the light immensely. As I was also laying there reading a book I realized the reflective silver was reflecting the fire back toward me so much. I was so suprized. I thought it was just green but the inside silver was great. I love it more now. It is a bit heavy at 1.9 or so lbs. but wow it was worth it. Buy it fast before they find out they are on to something. It is well worth the 30 dollars folks. Love it....

Excellent Value in a Big Square Tarp
I wanted a large square tarp which was called for to make a particular tarp tent design with a floor. This tarp fit the bill very well for a great price.I had to take away two stars because the description and photos indicate "Bright tri-beam ground stakes" but my tarp came with very basic nail / hook stakes. Also, the lines provided are just so ridiculously light it's a joke. These lines are so thin, weak and fray so quickly that they wouldn't even make decent shoelaces.AMAZON SELLERS: You need to be completely accurate in your product descriptions ! Having a good product at a fair price isn't enough if you won't take the time and care to describe it accurately.

Good for DIYers.
Good tarp if you want to try out tarp camping but aren't ready to invest in a cuben fiber one that weighs less than the credit card you maxed out buying it. It's a bit lacking in tie-outs, just one for each corner and two for a ridgeline, but if you like DIY projects then adding your own custom tie-outs to this will give you a nice tarp for cheap. I used some grosgrain to add 3 more on each "ground" side (overkill, but if I ever rip one out while camping then I have extra options) and one more along the ridgeline to increase usable space while in storm mode. Make sure to get a polyurethane-compatible seam sealer if you're going to do this, most camping stuff these days seems to be siliconized and apparently they can't use the same sealer so finding a PU one can be a little tricky. Didn't get any rain my first camping trip with this, but I pitched it in my yard and poured a couple gallons of water over it, no leaks. 4 stars only because of two minor issues: first, the stitching on the stuff sack was giving out right out of the box. And second, one corner tie-out was missing a D ring. Neither of these really interferes with the usability of the tarp, just shows a slight lack of quality control. Overall, I recommend this tarp. Great for campers on a budget or who want a trial run at making a more advanced/expensive DIY tarp.

Good tarp for hammocking
I use this tarp to cover my hammock while hammock camping. It is huge, as the name implies, and had complete coverage over my hammock so that not a drop of water hit me during a bad thunderstorm. It's size is a bit annoying when trying to pack it though I would rather have that than be soaking wet while trying to sleep. It does have a thermal side so that some heat is reflected back though this isn't really significant unless it is put underneath the hammock or used in a true survival situation since more heat will be lost to the breeze underneath the hammock. It includes everything needed to set it up including stakes and ropes to attach to the corners and spine. All parts are of good quality and are durable enough for a backpacking trip in rocky terrain where stakes are pounded into(not through) boulders but don't bend.I have use other tarps that were less effective (especially the tube tarp) in keeping off rain than this one. This is by far my favorite tarp as it can be used as a square or diamond over the hammock. It also is able to cover two hammocks when they are stacked.

The overall quality of it is amazing and durable
This tarp held up to 100kmh winds over a weekend camping trip and kept me well secure in my hammock underneath. The overall quality of it is amazing and durable, material is breathable and lightweight.I would suggest 2 things to upgrade on this product and can be easily done. The D-rings that hold the pegs get twisted and cut into webbing making it weak, I took them out and added a bit of paracord to attach the pegs. Also, the cordage that is supplies with the tarp is a bit weak and can be replaced with paracord.I will highly recommend this to anyone after the windstorm it survived through. Good stuff!

Poorly Made
Crap! DO NOT BUY! I was setting this up to hang off my van, didn't even attach it and the grommet (attached to tarp with nylon fabric) popped right off. I hadn't even pulled it right, as you need to do with these. I kept going and another popped right off! Would not hold up in wind.

when I got it I thought it had more tie out points so I was disappointed but the mistake was mine
Its OK, when I got it I thought it had more tie out points so I was disappointed but the mistake was mine. The tarp itself is pretty big, it's got 6 tie outs as shown in the photo upon re-viewing it. The tarp looks pretty heavy duty, one side is reflective, one side is colored. Will probably work really well for a lot of applications but it doesn't pack down as well as i'd like for my backpacking kit.

Get better stakes if your dealing with hard ground
It is a bang foe your buck. The tarp and the ropes hold up well. I has used it a couple of times in some hard winds. It's not a tarp to last a lifetime for sure. Why I don't give it 5 stars is because the stakes are brittle and with any hard ground you will be breaking them to get them in. Broke all but one. And why I give it 4 stars is because of its price, compatibility, and lightwieght factors along with it holds up and is waterproof.

Definitely a good buy
Works well with a lot of tie out points. Just don’t put too much undo strain on it. It can only handle so much strain but despite me putting more than I should have it still held up well

Works great, D-rings aren’t as reliable as I’d have liked.
Exactly as advertised, it passed the Algonquin trials. Including 90km/hr wind, rain and rope tension. Bringing this on the next trip. Only issue I had was with the D-rings, they aren’t welded shut so be aware of tension on them.
