Amazing Tour 12pc 8-19mm Metric Flexible Spanner Wrench Set Ring Ratchet Spanner Set Ratchet Combination+ Free Glove

I was disappointed to find that 2 spanners (14/15mm) were poorly machined - the flex heads were not ground down properly on one edge such that the flex heads did not flex freely through 180 degrees as they are supposed to. Contacted the seller who offered to send replacement spanners, however when these arrived (packed with minimal protection) I was disappointed to find that the replacement spanners were from a different set - they were a different size o the originals, had a different finish, did not fit properly in the original box and worst of all the ratcheting mechanism operated in the opposite direction to the original set, which is bound to cause confusion when quickly grabbing a spanner to get a job done. Furthermore, one of the replacement spanners' ratcheting mechanism felt like it was grinding when it arrived (not smooth as it should be), and the same spanners' flex head screw had worked loose during transit! Overall I was disappointed to find the original spanners did not operate as they should, but was even more disappointed that the replacements I was sent were not comparable to the originals! Unsatisfactory and will not buy this brand again. Now trying to return for a refund...Edit... seller offers refund upon return but only if buyer pays postage. Whole experience very frustrating, would avoid!

These are as good a quality as any other spanners I've owned. Fantastic value for money! Just used them on my first job and they saved me a ton of time - the adjustable angle of the ratchet end is really handy! I would just repeat what another reviewer said below; You don't use the ratchet for the initial loosen or final tighten...use the other end for that. My 1 small criticism is on the case; Although nice and sturdy, it doesn't hold the individual spanners in place very well. Bearing in mind though that many sets don't come with a case at all, that's a small cross to bare. Thoroughly recommended.

Having previously purchased a different set these are very similar in design and quality yet at a much better price and the compact box is useful for transporting & storing.A useful range of sizes for my needs.If you are a DIYer and don't have a set of ratchet spanners these would be a good investment, you may be surprised how often they home in useful.

Needed to undo the seat belt reel on my Morgan as it is fitted in an almost impossible to reach position. They arrived a day early and I am well pleased as similar spanners are twice the price in the high street and not always such a good range of sizes.

Exactly what I was after, definitely good study material, great value for money.If needs be I'd buy again if it happens to be.

These are great for replacing my old spanners. Pity gloves were too small but my wife has commandeered then.

Real good quality ratchet spanners. Just the job.

Can get expensive sets but these work really well. Love the gloves too.
