Southern Style Nuts Gourmet Hunter Mix, 36 oz

I first got a taste of this snack mix this year at my birthday. I just couldn't stop nibbling on it. I am trying to stay away from snacks with candy and sugary foods in them. This Hunter's mix surpasses any snack mix I've ever had. Fresh, not too spicy, mega flavor, plenty of nuts, and crackers and other yummy crunchy things. I must have a can or 2 around at all times. For me, and when I have company. The perfect snack at cards and game nights, (not messy)! And everyone raves how good it is!Best snack mix EVER!!!Tried the cheesy version, it was way too salty, and didn't taste cheesy at all! Will stick to the original version it's the best!

I got this for my husband for Christmas and we wound up ordering three more cans since then. This is a really tasty mix. I too would have liked more cashews as others have mentioned, but still this is a great product. You can't eat just ONE CAN. I see why some people subscribe to a can a month. It is the best mix I have found. If you are watching your weight, ti's just too good to have around and hard to resist. We will be ordering this again and sending it for Christmas gifts this year.

I keep buying this can of nuts because its awesome! Everyone in my family loves it. First of all the container is huge. You only pay slightly over $10 so you're getting good bang out of your buck. The variety great too. Peanuts are the majority with cashews, almonds, and pumpkin seeds being the minority, with a moderate amount of sesame sticks and sunflower seeds. The flavor is awesome! Perfect for a decent snack nutrition-wise.Now with that said, for gluten-free folks and even lactose-free/vegans, this mix unfortunately contains wheat and milk products and also soybean. I believe it comes from the ingredients of the sesame sticks. I'm gluten free myself and avoid lactose, but I make an exception with this mix because its still healthy and just so satiating as a snack.

This mix is addictive. It is very delicious. 1/4 cup is only 9 grams of carbs. Subtract the fiber which is 2 grams and the net carbs are 7 grams. A very nice snack. The different nuts and seeds blends very well. I had to actually get a measuring cup to measure 1/4 cup because I was over eating them. This is now my all time favorite. Great for diets where you have to watch your carbs.

This is one of the best tasting snack mixes I have ever had--and no MSG to boot. The mix is fresh, crisp, and flavorful. The reason I am giving four stars instead of five is that the plastic lid is terrible--it is so cheap and thin that it tore the first time I took it off the can. That means it will not keep the mix as fresh as it needs to be.

I absolutely love this snack and it has become my go to. I take it traveling, on the road, for a quick pick me up. The flavor and combination of snacks together are wonderful. Hard to resist.

So addicting!!! I have seen the Squirrel brand on QVC, but really had no desire to purchase. I was at a clients house and I was snacking on these peanuts and when I looked to see the manufacture its was Squirrel Brand and I said WOW these are so delicious and so I went on to Amazon and found them, purchased to containers and when they arrived I had my husband try them and he loves them and we both agree they are addicting and delicious.

I love to eat nuts and find it difficult to find canned nuts that taste fresh and flavorful. The Hunter Mix is an interesting mix of top shelf nuts, along with little cheesy thingies and sesame sticks. This mix makes a great snack and has NO MSG. The can is HUGE, much bigger than I thought, so the mix lasts a very long time (and it comes with a plastic lid to seal in the flavor). This is a great mix for parties!
