Highly Recommend
The media could not be loaded. Bought the GB-GK-18(Red Switches). Amazing tactile feeling while pressing the keys and the sound is also very satisfying. Overall a premium feel and good sound keyboard with swappable switches and lot of customisation with the lights with software support. But I noticed one thing that the brightness of the light in GB-GK-18 is less compared to the GB-GK-16(Blue Switch) but the color accuracy is very good. You can go for it😀. Due to the Red Switches, you can expect a great gaming performance with low latency and all key anti ghosting.

Great build, responsive switches, but custom RGB switching is limited
I've been using the Cosmic Byte CB-GK-18 Firefly mechanical keyboard for over a week now, and overall, it's an excellent piece of hardware. The build quality is solid, the key response is great, and the per-key RGB customization through the Windows software is great — especially at this price point. However, there's one major limitation that Linux users (like me) should be aware of:While you can define a custom per-key RGB layout and save it to the keyboard's memory using the Windows app, there is no keyboard shortcut to recall this custom mode once you switch to one of the preset lighting effects using Fn + Insert or similar function key combos. You’ll need to reopen the Windows app each time you want to restore your custom lighting — which is very inconvenient if you're primarily on Mac/Linux.If Cosmic Byte adds the ability to assign a shortcut to toggle back to the user-defined RGB profile or lets users set it as the default on startup, this would easily be a 5-star product.Pros:1. Excellent build quality and design2. Smooth, responsive mechanical switches3. Fully customizable per-key RGB (via Windows software)4. Onboard memory saves lighting profilesCons:1. No keyboard shortcut to return to custom RGB lighting once switched2. Software is Windows-only; not ideal for Linux usersVerdict:Highly recommended for Windows users who want custom RGB control. If you're on Linux, be aware of the current limitations and plan accordingly.

Amazing entry level mechanical keyboard, died on me after 3.5 years
Great for beginners getting into mechanical keyboards, I would personally suggest to go for hot swappable so you'll have an extra set of switches if you get a new keyboard or you can just upgrade this one. Last long for me and has died on me after 3.5 years and for what it's worth I'd say that was a good run. 4 Star for dying on me rest all good

Not Worth the Buy. Overpriced, Bad product quality and not helpful customer service
It has been 2 years since I have purchased this. I paid a full 2349 for the product with the intent that it will be better than my previous keyboard and also light up in the dark. Prior to this I used a Das Keyboard Model S which I still have it today and it has been with me since the last 10+ years. Even today, the Das Keyboard is superb in terms of quality, stability and typing but just lacks lights. I have the blue switch Das Keyboard. After using Cosmic Byte:1. Stress: I started developing hand pain after long hours of work. I purchased a pad and typed, still there was a noticeable stress. Never had that with my Das Keyboard. The keys are a bit raised is what I felt. Especially the angle at which edge of the keyboard that remains towards you and the clearance it has from the table surface. The Cosmic Byte looks raised and feels raised.2. Stability: The frame feels light. Its easy to carry but since its light, if you type faster there is lateral movement of the keyboard if your table surface is smooth. The Das keyboard is heavy and it does not move.3. Sound: Even though being the same blue colored switches, Das keyboard is quieter. The Cosmic Byte makes a definite click sound which turns the eyes of your office folks towards you especially when they get disturbed from it during calls.4. Quality: The plastic feel is good but the material feels less dense and not sturdy. Maybe am comparing to Das Keyboard and so I may have a higher expectation.5. Type Speed: Here the Das Keyboard is a clear winner. You can type in the Cosmic Byte but its slow. The tactile and reactive speed of the switch although good, its not good for fast typing. It felt like pressing against a hard button. Here is where I had to really struggle with it and made mistakes. It used to feel like an effort to type with it. Plus the keyboard has the keys depressed in an arc. I felt that the arc had greater depth than most keyboards I have used. I used to feel my hands after typing. The tactile resistance with this keyboard was high.6. Support: I had the space bar trouble with the cosmic byte. The spacebar was occasionally getting stuck but if you pressed it one more time, it used to move forward on the screen. It started off by happening just a very few times only and then gradually increased. Then as the work from office started, I carried it to office but everyone would cast a look when I typed on it because of the sound. I took my old Das but that did not have that much click sound. The Das was bigger than the two and would not fit in my bag and so I stopped taking both and only while at home, I used the Cosmic Byte. So, the use of the keyboard fell. I saw the spacebar issue to become more and more prevalent. Now the problem is completely full blown and the space bar does not register at all. I removed the spacebar key and saw that the blue switch too has that same problem. It does not register the hits. Out of 30 hits it would register only once.I reached out to Customer Support. As per them the warranty expired last year and apart from me agreeing to ship the product and I paying for the repair, they cannot honor anything.I have switched back to the Das Keyboard. It still functions well and apart from getting dirty which I clean time to time, it still has the superb feel. The wire cable looks old, has had a crack too but still runs just fine. My hand has started to feel much better. One might say that I got accustomed to one keyboard but I did give this keyboard a solid 2 years too.Paying a hefty price for this, and that too when the company knows that there is an issue with the product's spacebar, they atleast honor the problem even if its out of warranty. It just did not break out completely within a year. As of this remark I am still trying to get it worked out with them and I understand the warranty part.
