My son loves to plays with balls! I have a really bad habit of picking up one of those rubber balls for a couple bucks alf of the time we go to the grocery store But it makes him so happy! Needless to say there are balls everywhere in our house, but my son especially loves these. He is eighteen months and these are the perfect size for his little hands. The are almost about six inches across. The basketball fits great in his little fisher price basketball hoop. Although, it does not bounce because they are made of foam, but thats okay because we usually play with them inside the house. The soccer ball is easy for him to kick around and attempt to bounce it off of his head. The football is his favorite because it is easy for him to hold and throw. These are a good quality and I think they will hold up for as long as most of the nerf type material balls hold up for. That is unless your kid is a biter! My son has not starting biting the football yet, but I am sure the day will come. I try to keep these inside because they are the type of ball to get dirty easily. Plus he has enough outdoor balls. Overall, this is a super cute set, definitely worth the price and super fun for my son. They are also great for any sports fanatic daddies out there.

My husband and I purchased this set to go with our SKLZ Basketball hoop that we bought for our son because the ball that came with it was really hard. We both grew up playing with nerf and have found this set to hold true to the quality, texture and feel of the things we used to play with. We highly recommend this set for anyone with young kids.My only complaint is that the set is a bit expensive and overpriced.

Perfect for a 2 year old boy.

Not like the really lightweight nerf foam balls from back in the day. This basketball will tear down the plastic toddler nerf rim from the cardboard backboard.

At the time of this review (April of 2015) this is selling for $9.99. When I purchased these in December of 2014 I paid $18.97. One of the reviews posted here indicates the customer paid nearly $30 in December of 2012 and that once she saw them in person she felt they were only worth about $10. It's good to see that today's price finally reflects what some feel should have been the price all along.Most people reading this review grew up with Nerfs or are otherwise familiar with them. In my opinion these are just what you would expect in terms of Nerf construction and quality, but they may be smaller than you imagine. This entire boxed package is probably only 14 inches across on the long end and the largest balls about 4.5 inches across. These are great for indoor use and we've had a lot of fun with them - my only advice is just to make sure you're comfortable with the size and price before ordering.
