Great bargain!
First, I've been rider for decades. I've owned many different types of motorcycle jackets over the years. That said, I was looking for a cold-weather ADV-type motorcycle jacket to wear on these cool (for me) Florida winter days and, after trying on some at the local motorcycle shops then looking online I decided to go with this ACG brand adventure jacket. I ordered the RED on WHITE style in a LARGE.NOTE*** I have only worn this jacket for one short afternoon ride. The temperature was a sunny low-60's. I reside in Florida so I can tell you, when you're used to average 90-degree days, anything below 70 and you feel a chill through your body! Today felt like low-to-mid 50's.QUALITY - upon opening the box the jacket was folded up. After unfolding I did a thorough look-over for any loose threads or imperfections and found none. This jacket has a lot of velcro from the adjusting fasteners to the pockets and the zipper cover. The stitching appears solid and the nylon seems strong enough. (Some reviews complain about the smell. There is an odor but it's nothing major. Reminds me of all the jackets they sell at these motorcycle rally tents...you all know what I'm talking about!!!)LOOKS - this jacket looks great! I actually was concerned that the colors I chose (red on white) may not match my bike. I think the style is well represented.FIT - I'm 5'9, 180lbs and a chest measurement of 42". I ordered the large as I thought I'd rather have a little more room should the thermal liner not wield enough warmth. With the liner zipped in, and wearing a basic sweatshirt over a t-shirt, I still have plenty of room for a thicker sweatshirt and/or additional layers for those really cold days. (Although I believe a MEDIUM would fit perfect I also think that it would become pretty tight should I need to add layers underneath.)LENGTH - is perfect as it falls just below my jean pockets. And I really like that the collar doesn't rise above my neck as some of the jackets I've owned in the past start to rub against your chin when mounted on the motorcycle. This collar is very comfortable and didn't bother me at all while riding. (I will recommend a neck gaiter in those really cold days!)The sleeve length is maybe an inch longer than I'd prefer BUT...it's actually nice as it easily covers my wrists over my gloves and DOESN'T ride up my arm!!!FEATURES - The front zipper seems sturdy and solid. After zipping there are snaps that run up the zipper-line. After snapping up, there is a line of velcro from bottom to top of the zipper. In addition, there's also a velcro neck fastener. There are two arm velcro adjusters on each sleeve (bicep and forearm), as well as velcro wrist tighteners. There's also two velcro fasteners to adjust the waist/lower back tightness. The inner liner is zippered with the wrists attaching via a sewn-on button that loops in a "looped button hole" that's sewn on the jacket sleeve. Two zippered vents are just above the ribcage and there's an awesome "small of your back", velcro'd pocket that use those red tabs (mentioned below) for grabing to open. I'm assuming this is a storage for your liner should you need to shed it as your riding days may get warmer. The armor is adequate, but if you prefer to have something more stronger then replace to your preference.Pockets are definitely adequate for holding a lot of things! I was able to put my glasses hard-case easily in the lower pocket so I'm sure they can hold any pair of gloves you're using. The chest pockets are a bit smaller than the lower pockets but can easily hold a large cell phone or other things. All pockets are lined with what feels like a waterproof material. The flaps on the pocket really caught my attention, both in looks and performance! There are small, red "tabs" sticking out from the pockets that are A) easy to grab, even with gloves on and, B) add to the style. (I'm impressed by this feature!)PRICE - I paid approximately $56 USD.OVERALL - WOW!!! What a bargain! I have to say that, as long as this jacket get's through two cold-weather seasons then it's definitely a winner for me! (I say two seasons as most of my name-brand jackets start to get a little worn out after even a year or two. Still functional, just a little "worn-looking".) Compared to some of the name brand's I tried on in the stores, this jacket may not have the longevity (time will tell...and I really don't see why it wouldn't) but for a fraction of the price on some of these name-brand jackets...I can buy two of these and still come up with money saved!!!This is my first ADV-styled motorcycle jacket. I've owned more of the sport-type in my riding years, and I am VERY impressed by the quality of this jacket! It just "feels good" when wearing it. Again, for the price...this is going to be pretty hard to beat. I can tell you, compared with some of the name-brand jackets they all have their good's and bad's. You can be a brand-loyal rider but, the older I get I find that I'm just looking for something of the best quality for the least amount of money as I've had some very expensive jackets that are useless to me now.Bottom line...this ACG brand jacket is totally worth it! Heck, even if there was an unravelled stitch I'm sure it'd be nothing I couldn't fix myself. And, God forbid I ever take a slide and tear this thing up, at least I won't be out a few $100! (I don't care what anyone says, you take a slide down the road, ANY brand of jacket is going to be toast!)If you've been looking at one of these jackets but you're still on the fence, I'd say to go ahead and pull the trigger. The worst that can happen is that you return it for something that fits you better.I highly recommend this jacket!***Update - Alright, after using this jacket on some pretty chilly morning rides I have to say that this jacket is AWESOME!!! I left one morning with temps in the mid/high 30'sF. I had the inner-liner in and, from the feel I thought it was going to be a cold ride. I had a t-shirt with a sweatshirt over it. My entire ride I felt absolutely NO air coming through! Ive been riding enough to know that keeping warm on rides isn't about the temperatures, but about how much wind you can protect yourself from. And this jacket does it! I'm very pleased with this jacket especially considering the price. It looks good, feels good and does what a motorcycle jacket is supposed to do...for less than $60 USD!!!If you're one of those people that expect a $500 jacket at a $60 price, then get upset that it doesn't suit your demands then go buy a $500 jacket! But I'd suggest to give one of these a try, you just may be satisfied. If there was any "complaint" I would say that the arms run a little long for me. As for the odor it has subsided a lot. It's not really bad, it just comes from the box with a warehouse-type smell. I don't care when I'm riding and I'm not attending any tuxedo parties while wearing this jacket.I'm thinking of purchasing another jacket of the same style, only in a medium, for summer riding.Again, for less than $60 USD this jacket is definitely a winner if you care more about comfort and style as opposed to believing people will think you're more "cool" because you have a name-brand jacket.

Absolutely a great jacket. Value well beyond the price.
This jacket is just awesome! Highly recommended to anyone who rides. First the fit: fits to size. I am normally XXL to XXXL. XXL fit perfectly. With the liner it was a little snug but broke in just great. Jacket is warm without the liner. I am in the southwest U.S. but it has been cold here. No need for the liner. In the warm the vents work really well. Very comfortable on a long ride. Collar does tend to bunch up a little but but is not uncomfortable.Fabric quality is awesome. Armor is well placed. Stitching is high quality and zippers are rugged and match the intended use. This jacket is comparable to my old Tourmaster jacket in quality.

No need to spend more.
Unbelievable price for such a full featured and quality cortec motorcycle jacket. Kept me warm during a 50 degree ride this morning. Armor feels substantial. Ordered large and extra large with plans to return the one that does not fit. These jackets run roomier than the sizing chart would indicate; 5ft 11in, 210 lb with a 44-in chest, 36 waist. According to the sizing chart on chest size, I should wear an extra large, but the large fits great (extra large was much too big and baggy) with extra room to layer other clothes underneath and that is even with the thermal liner in. I have a 20 year old TourMaster cortech jacket that has served me well but is getting a bit worn out; it will serve as my backup. I paid six times more for that jacket than this Alpha. If I get 6 years out of this Alpha jacket for the $50 purchase price on Black Friday, it is money well spent.

Comfy, just get itV AGATT
I'm a taller, slender guy, and this fit pretty comfortably on me. One of the other reviews I saw mentioned that it didn't protect from a broken bone, but you have to know that no jacket on the planet would protect from that type of accident breaking a bone without spending north of $1000.His review just confirmed that it's very tear resistant, so road rash won't be a concern of mine. The jacket stays fairly warm in slightly lower temperatures, but still probably want to wear a layer or two underneath it when it gets colder. Plenty of friends said it looks really good, and I definitely feel it looks good too. Feels really well made for it's price class.Absolutely better than a T-shirt or hoodie.

Great Jacket for a Bargain
As the old saying goes, "buyer beware", that statement true especially here on Amazon when it comes to items from China. In this case, the product exceeded all my expectations and I am pleasantly surprised.First when ordering size, remember that the difference between Chinese Large and American Large is significant, so look at the numbers. Also the branding is excessive with big bold lettering on both sleeves and across the back.Like most higher end ADV jackets, the fit is adjustable with Velcro straps across the waistline, mid-sleeves and wrists. Closure in the front is with a zipper then an overlapping Velcro tab with snaps. Vents open easily to increase air circulation. Pockets are roomy, and close securely. Back, shoulders, elbows and hips are armored and fit well. The zip out liner light and underwhelming but does add an air layer for increased heat retention. In conclusion this jacket for the bargain price is a solid competitor for higher end and significantly more expensive name brand ADV jackets. Including the one named after a mountain in Tanzania which I used to own.
