it wont work for gaming, only peripherals like kybd and mse

It's a USB extender, so it will work great if that touch screen uses USB to extend its control data.

Q: Has anyone tried this with an Elgato Stream Deck?

I ordered this hoping it would work with the Elgato Stream Deck, and it does. Currently on a 50' Cat 6 cable. In addition, it unexpectedly works with the Stream Deck XL. Very happy!
