This looks and feels brand new. I can not see any sign that will tell me this is renewed. Even the box is pristine! I may stop buying brand new laptos from here on.And Microsoft Surface products are so premium. The only thing that stands up to a mac!I am 100% happy with this purchase.

This laptop is renewed but looks like new, it came on an original box and with its original charger and documentation, all wrapped in plastic protector. in short, it really looks like new.As for the laptop itself, really like it so far. I like the design, the materials are nice and the keyboard feels really good and have a decent travel; some reviews said the screen is disappointed but to me, this is the best looking screen in any laptop for the price.Only weak point is that the battery life is not the best, it is not "bad" but definitely wouldn't say it is the best, just browsing make it drain quite fast and tends to heat a bit more than I thought it would.

I was in the market for a cheap laptop for school.. something to replace my 10 year old Chromebook. My sister had bought this laptop but new from Best Buy, and I liked hers so I had my boyfriend find me one and this was the one he stumbled across. I ordered it instantly once I saw it had 8gb of ram. This laptop is a little beast let me tell you, it could handle all of my schoolwork/tabs (and there were a lot) without crashing or majorly slowing down. It can also handle light games like terraria very well too…the battery gets a little hot in use but oh well. For the price you can’t beat it :)

In terms of laptop build quality, this is the best laptop I've owned. It feels great to hold and type on. The trackpad is very smooth.Colors seem accurate, but the low pixel density is honestly noticable in videos and movies. Regular browsing it's not noticable at all. Maybe a decoding issues (CPU).When connected to an extenal monitor and streaming videos, the laptop gets very hot and the system freezes up. Chrome's cpu utilization exceeds 100% when streaming 1440p+ videos. It's kind of annoying since on paper this cpu should be able to handle 4k decoding with ease.If you can afford the i5-1035g7 or, even better, the laptop 3+, you'll likely not have any of the aformentioned issues.Also, I tried using Windows 11 with all the latest updates, but it was laggy and slow for me. I installed Ubuntu and my ram usage rarely exceeds 3.5GB. Windows somehow manages to use 5+ GB ram with just chrome open.If you plan to install another os, make sure to upgrade to windows 11 first and apply all the latest updates, then install another os. Leave secure boot on.Hold volume down key then power on to get into bios.

worth the money, look like new and working well so far, I hope it will last long

honestly, it’s a really nice computer but adjustments key for your brightness at least online are broken they’ve been broken, so I’ve just been adjusting the brightness manually in the settings.

A few weeks in and it’s working great!
