This is perfect for Mini Cooper. I’ve tried so many stupid phone mounts in my car! Either they don’t fit the air vent or the view is obstructed or the stupid things eventually fall off the bumpy textured dashboard. And I don’t want to make them permanent in any way. This mount is stable, easy to install, does not obstruct anything except the top of the screen where you see your radio station and it matches the car! So perfect. I was putting off buying because it was kind of pricey for what it does but it was totally WORTH IT.

Make sure to buy 3M VHB double-sided tape. This would not stick to my vehicle with the tiny pieces of tape that were provided. My phone was too heavy. If I had a dollar for every phone holder I bought for my dash that only lasted a couple of days before it fell off I would be rich. We will find out how well this holds up after using huge pieces of double-sided tape.

I wanted my phone directly above the factory LCD screen, and other mounts required sticking something to the dash, which could cause long term damage. This fits perfectly in the useless slot behind the hazard button. I ended up modifying and using my own mount to fit with this 13mm (1.2") ball. It did tend to slip as the ball is very small and can't grip very well for my heavy phone. The ball couldn't be larger unless they extended it out past the hazard button, which I wish they did. However, a little super glue on my plastic mount and it isn't moving.

1. It does not hold, even with third party tape. I am guessing that it is either coated with a non-compatible finish, not shaped for maximum contact, too heavy or some combination of these.2. It does not hold an IPhone 14 or 16 with a case.3. It blocks the display.

The phone holder is very helpful in keeping my phone where I can find it. That’s a big plus for me. The only problem is that the phone sits right in front of your Information Display. I knew that when I purchased it but I thought it would hold the phone sideways in order to better see the Information Display. It does not hold your phone sideways. Your phone will just fall out into the floor. It is very easy to install. The quality seems pretty good but I’m going to have to use it for a while to see if I got a good deal for my money.

It fits, which is nice considering the design of my mini doesn't allow for traditional phone holders. I wanted one so it wasn't in the cup holder and i wouldn't risk it falling into the floor under my feet while driving. The problem is that it doesn't fit well enough for the included adhesive strips to actually touch anything and hold it in place. So it easily comes out and slides around when removing the phone. I'm sure if I glue a few foam strips to it then it might stay.Ashley the plastic but doesn't screw back on after you assemble it.

I LOVE this!! It’s so easy to just drop your phone in and grab it when it’s time to leave the car. Any size phone fits! The one and only drawback is that it covers part of my screen but I use the phone for navigation anyway. Great product!!

It's a decent mount. I like the location it puts the phone, and can't really care that it blocks part of the screen. The biggest issue with the mount is that it uses a very small ball mount that I can't seem to find other options for. Most phones weigh too much, so they tend to droop. I tightened the ball join and ended up breaking one of the threads. Figured I could just find a magsafe mount to match the ball joint, but it uses a small ball joint that seems to be standard, so now I'm stuck with a busted phone mount.
